"When we arrived we were greeted by Gernot. He was a very kind host. The apartment was bright and beautiful! Very comfortable and clean. The beds were amazing and we slept wonderfully. The shower had excellent water pressure and the sauna was a delightful way to end the day! We loved the tranquil back yard with a lovely area to sit and relax by the flowers and pond. "Cute apartment perfect for 2 adults. Friendly owner only speaks German. We do not speak much German at all. We did not understand that to check in we only needed to ring the bell when we arrived and the owner greeted us with the keys. We sent a message through VRBO and very quickly she called our German friend who explained it to us. Feather pillows and cozy duvets on the beds. Hot water in the shower. Perfect place to stay and walk to Roxel or your bus to Münster. Highly recommend."

"Firstly, I would stay here again! The apartment was very spacious, clean and easy to find. The kitchen was well equipped and super useful. One bath and one hand towel for a whole week wasn’t ideal and no obvious way to get clean ones. Emails about how to get in were clear, so no contact otherwise needed. When I arrived though there was a terrible smell in the apartment from the drains, which went as soon as I ran all taps and flushed loo a few times. I assume no one had been in for a while....

Sie ist sehr ruhig gelegen, trotzdem waren das Stadtzentrum und verschiedene Sehenswürdigkeiten, wie der Zoo, das Naturkundemuseum oder der Aasee für uns mit dem Fahrrad sehr schnell zu erreichen. Wij verbleven in het onderste appartement met uitloop naar de tuin, waar we heerlijk konden lezen in de schaduw van de pruimenboom. Het appartement is smaakvol ingericht. Alles was tiptop in orde. We zijn zeer gastvrij ontvangen en raden dit appartement zeker aan."

"Superb location right across from the train station where coffee shops, bakeries and other fast food options can be found. 10-15 mins walk from historical areas. Room and hotel were clean, got a welcome drink too. Not a cozy place per se, just very functional - I think that's what they are going for. There are a few interesting points that I'd like to point out for non-German guests (as I think it's pretty standard in Germany because now I've stayed in 4 hotels here and they are the same): - "double" bed means two single beds put together. Size wise, yes maybe it's a double, but there's a crack in the middle with two small comforters on top, so what's the point if I can only sleep on one single side anyways? If you are thinking of upgrading because of the bed option, say from a single bed to a double, or two singles to one double, don't bother. If you are a couple and prefers to sleep on the same bed, you will be sleeping on different mattresses. - body wash, shampoo, facial wash - all in one. All four hotels I stayed in had similar one bottle of liquid soap for all washings. If you care about this stuff, now you know to bring extra products. "
