The good:- Large room Public baths not busy, open all night Best buffet breakfast Happy hour cheap drinks $5.50 cad Helpful staff The bad:- No onsite parking, there’s one at the back of the hotel on a slope for 24hrs $13cad, no in and out The AC has a musty smell, maybe it’s just too humid these days Will recommend this hotel.

The breakfast buffet is amazing-so many choices especially for a delicious traditional Japanese breakfast, but there are also Western food choices too. I definitely recommend adding breakfast to your reservation. The rooms are nicely decorated and bigger than I expected. The beds are very comfortable.

Wonderful onsen with view of the city and fireworks this weekend. Lovely breakfast if slightly crowded restaurant. Clean room and comfortable. Nearby the castle and an easy walk to the train station. Would stay again.

Nearly perfect hotel
This is a near perfect hotel to stay in while visiting Kanazawa as a tourist. The hotel - situated in the heart of the high end shopping district - is a short walk to the main fish market, the samurai district or a beautiful park entrance to Kanazawa Castle park. You can walk to the main historic district as well, but that is a 15-20 minute walk so the viability of that walk is up to you. There is a 24 hour convenience store across the street for last minute snacks. The hotel is very clean and modern, making it perfect for business travelers or couples, but there were also families here as well. The service is exactly what you’d expect from a Japanese business; everyone is friendly and helpful. They also spoke more than enough English if you need that.
