Your cozy 'Home away from Home!' Decorated in Hawaiian Style, is bright, cheery. comfy and filled with 'ALOHA!' for a restful &/or adventurous stay.
LOCATION is so important on Kauai. Yes, we're along the scenic & historic, Kauai's east side, The Royal Coconut Coast & Kapaa town. 3 min. walk to beach, 3 pools, 2 hot tubs.
Can walk to beaches, dining, shopping, hiking & located along the famous & beloved 8 mile, oceanside walking/biking path & more.
Central on island, 15 mins. from airport.
The resort is a Hawaiian 'Plantation style', two story condo complex.
This location allows you to drive to Hanalei (north) in 30 minutes and also to Poipu ( south) in 30 minutes.
If you prefer not to rent a car, the Kauai bus line stops close by. Uber & Lyft as well.
C-7 is a one bedroom condo on the ground floor with rejuvenating garden & pool views from the lanai/deck .
The bedroom has 2 double sized beds, adorned with Egyptian cotton linens and beautiful Rosewood furniture.
Maple cabinets, a fully equipped kitchen with granite countertops are both welcoming & functional.
The toilet & spa-like walk in shower, are separated from sink/dressing area for privacy.
The cleaning company is meticulous and thorough.

Perfect Spot
We LOVED this little condo. We stayed in Princeville last time we went to Kauai and while it was beautiful, we loved being more central this time and the place was so perfect! The beach is super close and we took advantage of the laundry on site! The host provided everything and more you could need during your visit! Would definitely stay again!

Great location
This property is as pictured. The room was clean and recently updated. There was a musty smell upon entering the room but I think it is related to the humid location next to the beach. We had a large shower (no tub) that was stocked with large bottles of body wash and shampoo. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Our lanai led out the the pool and hot tub which we used every day. The hot tub stayed hot which was a welcome way to begin and end every day. Although we were disappointed that it did not open until 8:00 am and was closed by 8:30 pm. Take note of this because the hours are not posted anywhere. A nice surprise we’re the comfy beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler that we found in the bedroom closet. The unit has a fully stocked kitchen and living room with a dining table. No washer and dryer in the unit but there is one on the grounds. Vivian and Lyle were fantastic to work with and were very cheerful and helpful. Checking in is was ‘OK’ as long as you could find someone to help you. This is not a hotel, it is a condo complex. We could walk to the rocky beach in about 5-7 minutes. Within walking distance of a market, restaurant, small shops and a CVS. Good place for the price. Would stay here again.

We had an enjoyable time here.
We stayed here for a week with the four of us. It has two double beds. Kitchen has everything you really need. We made a couple time’s supper here and that worked perfect. It has plenty of dishes etc. There were a couple little bags with coffee, was really nice since we came very late at night and had not time to do groceries, but we could have our morning coffee before we went to Safeway for groceries (really close by). It has dark-out curtains in living room and bedroom, it is really nice, so you don’t wake up to early, the down side is, that it makes it darker in the room. Bathroom was nice, lots of space on the counter there. Nice towels. Plenty of toilet paper was provided. You can walk from the patio, right across the lawn to the pool and hot tub. Hot tub has nice temperature, pool is not heated, but when you are in for a minute, it is refreshing. There are 2 washers and 2 dryers in each apartment building, worked really nice because it is close by, and you can use it from 8 am - 10pm. There is beach stuff in the apartment, but we did not use it because the waves were to high to swim there. Front desk was friendly and checking in late at night was very easy (after midnight). This property was recently upgraded. Comfortable king bed, good location,quiet area. Although the kitchen was well stocked ,we found there was just too much stuff in the cabinets leaving no space for our groceries.To bad the beautiful pool was unheated. We tried to use it but it was just to cold.

My first experience on VRBO / Home Away
The property was very nice and a good location. Thank you for the little bag of coffee which lasted 3 days. I asked the desk if I can get a couple of "their" bags and they said "no" it's a privately owned unit, I would have to buy a large bag. Not enough bath towels and only 2 beach towels (there was 3 of us, myself & 2 grand-daughters). So I was doing laundry more than I planned. One of the closet doors in bedroom was off track, I fixed it. The light in outside patio (in back of unit to pool area) was out; per owner request I left a light bulb out so it can be changed, it still didn't work. Last but not least, on the last day @ 3:50 am, someone tried getting into unit with a key which startled me but thank you Vivian & Lyle for getting a bolt lock & chain installed. I immediately made sure the sliding doors were locked & grand-daughters ok. Turns out there was a "town event" and the 2 buildings to the North of our building had 'partiers' into the wee hours of the morning. (Police were called and there was only 1 security guard on that night) Plantation Hale personnel at the front desk were very apologetic. I left a voice message for the General Manager that morning but still no response. (Probably because the unit is "privately owned" ???) Other than that, the unit was very nice, very much supplied with cleaning products...

Plantation hale is centrally located so we could head North or South.
We really enjoyed the rental and the property. Very clean and well stocked with everything we could have needed. We used the hot tub as it was rainy and chilly.

Perfect apartment, great location!
I thought the apartment and its location looked good when I booked it -- but it's perfect! We loved the Kapa'a location, which felt more centrally located for activities south or north. The traffic on the island can move slowly at times so this location worked well for us. The pictures for this apartment don't do it justice. It feels much larger than it appears in the pictures, is extremely comfortable, and equipped with everything you might need. The kitchen is large and has all pots, pans, and accessories you'll need to prepare a full meal. They also provide things you'll need to enjoy your time on the beach -- large beach umbrella, beach mats, beach towels, cooler. The wifi worked well for us, too. The apartment is part of several buildings with other apartments/condos. There is plenty of parking, the pools were well maintained & clean, and the grounds are well groomed. During the night it was calm and quiet. Overall, we were extremely happy with this choice and would highly recommend it. Thanks, Vivian and Lyle. We had a great first experience on your beautiful island and can't wait to return! Mahalo........

We really enjoyed our time here. The location is perfect. You are in the middle of most activities. You are steps to shopping and lots of eating places. You walk out your door to the pool and hot tub area. This couldn’t be more perfect. The unit has been recently updated and we didn’t lack for anything in the unit. We would stay here again. Central Location ** Responsive Owners ** Great Value
First of all, the island of Kauai is simply magical. There is something about the spirit of this island that has left an immense impression on myself and my family. Vivian and Lyle's cozy condo unit is idea for folks who want to explore the entire island. The Sleeping Giant hike is literally 5 minutes away; Wailua River (5 minutes away), Princeville / Hanalei Bay (about 30 minute drive); Poipu Beach (about 30 minute drive), Lihue Airport (10 mminutes). The unit is as advertised. All essentials are apparent - kitchen, pool, laundry in the building unit, etc. This is idea for folks who are cost conscious, staying for longer period of time, and want to explore the entire island (instead of sitting pool-side at a resort). The owners / managers of the condo unit, Vivian / Lyle, were extremely helpful in providing suggestions what to do around the island. We will definitely come back to this paradise. Mahalo Stan, Kelle, and the Boys....
