"The location is wonderful with game regularly visiting the river from the Kruger opposite. When we arrived, about a dozen elephant were wading across and hippo were wallowing. The rooms each have their own private terraces where fires are lit each night, and open up into a lovely common area where birds and the 3 incumbent nyala are encouraged. "The place is in dire need of a major upgrade. Broken tiles on the steps. Lots of damp on the buildings. Algae in the showers. Broken window blinds. Poor functioning air con I also felt unsafe as there were people playing very loud music in the parking lot and drinking"

"This place was fantastic, if a bit aged. We had an issue with a room, and they promptly moved us to a new room with no hassle. The food was mixed, so would recommend trying to find elsewhere "
