Quaint Stone built Cottage with sea views, refurbished ready fo 2022,

Old Town Cottage is a little old Greek house, has been fully and tastefully refurbished to the highest standard with an eclectic mix of British and Turkish fixtures and fittings with comfort and romance in mind. It sports an enviable view of the nearby bay and harbour and is central to all things Kalkan but in a quiet cobbled street with mostly local neighbours. There is a sun deck on the roof top and a brand new kitchen on the ground floor. It is perfect for couples but if one wishes to entertain local friends there is seating at a table for four persons on the roof with a rather fine bespoke barbecue and there is plenty of crockery, glasses etc.

Wonderful experience
As Lyn ( host ) states the cottage is for a couple, it has been recently been renovated, but has has not lost its charm, We loved our stay there, beautiful views from the roof terrace, and the location is absolutely perfect, We found it very comfortable and relaxing, It made our stay in amazing Kalkan even more enjoyable, Lyn was a fabulous host, and the listing is very accurate, lost its charm

This little cottage was quite a find. Small, but the living space was ample for our needs as we spend most of our time out and about. It is indeed quirky, over three floors, and the rather steep, winding stairs were a bit of a challenge initially although we soon got used to remembering to gather together everything we needed to take up, or down, with us to save unnecessary trips. Younger visitors would probably take them in their stride. Importantly though the cottage was well equipped and as described. The wi-fi was efficient, the bed extremely comfortable, the shower powerful and the view from the roof terrace spectacular.

Little Cottage
This is an excellent location for those wanting to get out and about to and be a tourist in Kalkan and surrounding areas. It is perfect for those who are adventurous and want to make the most of having compact accommodation that meets all your needs for 1-2 people and has the most amazing view over Kalkan bay. For those of you who know Kalkan, you will know that the cost of this accommodation is at the lower end and I can honestly say that it is great value for money. It is incredibly well equipped with a comfortable double bed, excellent air conditioning and a roof terrace to relax at nights. I do not think that you would get any other accommodation in Kalkan for this price with this level of amenities. I also have to thank Lyn for her excellent communication and support throughout.

Kalkan Old Town House
The best location possible. Had everything i needed, well and so much more. Felt cosy and homely and never wanted to leave the terrace. It has the wow factor for sure! Would definitely recommed for single person or couple. Cannot beat the view 😍

Kalkan trip
No surprises as property was as expected from description. Easily found and nicely located and great views from roof terrace. Seems to be fully equipped but as the property is small, items could be slimmed down and could be depersonalised, so a little more space for guests items. Optional welcome pack may be a nice touch, as we needed to by essentials such as toilet paper and washing up liquid, also condiments. If we had known we would have brought these, so info would be good on the ad. The only other thing to add, which is outside of the Hosts control. The street although narrow seems to turn into a major thoroughfare for cars and more noticeably motor bikes later in the evening, which does go on to the early hours. This can be very noisy. This street is meant to be closed to traffic at certain times, but this seems to be ignored.

As it says on the tin!
This is exactly what we expected. The cottage is a stones throw from the beach and the centre of Kalkan. It is small but perfectly formed and suits a couple well. The roof terrace is a gem with a beautiful view, a BBQ, and a table for 4. We loved every minute of our stay here.

Lovely little cottage in an excellent location
This is a lovely small cottage for 2 people, which is exactly what we wanted. Situated in the heart of the old town, so everything is on your doorstep. The cottage is full of character with fabulous views from the roof terrace. Great communication from the owner. Had a wonderful time there and would definitely book again!

Old Town Cottage
This property was listed as high end finish when in fact it was finished to a very poor standard ,dirty and badly maintained. None of the shutters or windows on the ground level locked or even closed so it was completely insecure . We complained only to have a piece of wood wedged into the window which kept falling out! No assistance from owner or agent. Last persons food was left in fridge and bags of laundry stuffed into one of the only cupboards. We asked for the place to be cleaned but only the bed was made! Rain water poured into cooking area leaving rusty stains over everything. Listed as having TV and internet . ..... none of it true, Asked for some sort of refund but ignored. This property needs to be taken off the site until the owner has inspected and adjusts the advertisement!

The property is over described, adequate for 2 people, no way for 4. The groundfloor would have been better left as original as an entrance/living area,too small for a bedroom, absolutely no storage. Two people entering front door first one has to step into the bathroom or onto the stairs to allow second one in. The bathroom is badly designed & problem banging head on underside of stairs. The shower leaked constantly & the main head shower didnt work. The first floor bedroom is overfull of furniture to create a sitting area. And overall build/ finish quality is poor. We didnt see anything of the agent, his office was always empty, appently locked & unlocked by neighboring shopkeepers. We had no maid service, clean towels or sheets for the 17 night stay.

We loved it
Old Town Cottage might not be for everyone, but it was perfect for us. Superbly located in the Old Town, beautiful views from the roof terrace, very high quality fixtures and fittings, quirky. We called it our Kalkan Beach Hut. Very comfortable, but small. If you love the real Kalkan this is for you. Two people max in my opinion.

A real jem in Kalkan
It was even cozier and nicer than I expected! On the scenic street close to everything including the beach. The house is tiny but has everything you need. The view of the terrace is breathtaking. Communication with the host was smooth and very pleasant. Lyn was always helpful. I can only recommend.
