"The garden surrounds and leafy setting around the accommodation were lovely. The soft furnishings in the restaurant areas were tired and a bit grubby. "Very large property, very well maintained. Room was large and clean. A/C worked great. Selelo was our host; very kind and attentive. Assisted us with booking events. Accompanied us a a boat safari. Food was excellent. Game drivers: Lesh and Jinx went above and beyond to try to meet our every request. We were lucky enough to see nearly every type of animal in the park. Highly recommend this place. "

"Lovely place, with beautiful reception area, you see that it has been grand. However you also see that the hotel overall is old and in need of renovation. the pool needed cleaning (but that was general for all our stays in Botswana) and the bar at the pool was closed in the afternoon!! They was 2 girls but the answer was closed!! Luckily a young man came by and he accommodated us (we saw that he walked to the other bar to get our orders) We had a massage all 3 and it was really good."

"Really enjoyed our stay here. It was such a characterful hotel and our room was gorgeous with beautiful views over the Chobe river from the balcony. The game drives and river cruise were really good and a reasonable price. I would say, the service was very up and down, sometimes outstanding, at other times quite cold and disorganised. "Spotlessly clean 1 bedroom cabin set in immaculate grounds. Good WiFi/AC and cable tv. Dinner and breakfast were also very good. You can choose to self cater in your cabin. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, pots and pans. Nice clean fridge and stove."

"We found the hotel extremely over priced. It should be half the price, or less. The room is very basic. The decor in the common areas is fairly sparse and dated. They even wanted to charge us to borrow their international adaptor! The service at the restaurant was slow but the staff there were nice. The location is good though. We would not recommend it (unless maybe they drop their price and you're looking for something with no frills.)"

One of my best stays ever!!

"Tongabezi is amazing!! I stayed for one week and didnt want to leave. If you are traveling from Zimbabwe it is very easy to cross the border and get to the hotel (they will arrange everything for you) Pros: The rooms are huge, internet is perfect (which was an issue in other places on my trip), rooms are elegant and modern (the decoration is BEAUTIFUL) and the food is really good (and healthy!) and the whole place is run perfect Mwila, the manager. Also- they have a gym! Which is amazing as many lodges dont have one. The trainer, Bruce is great guy and he is always there to help with the machines. Cons- I cant think of any in the hotel, it truly has been one of my best stays anywhere in the world. "
