"This place is a real gem! Private deck overlooking the sea where whales are jumping, the waves crash into the pool and the landscaping is breathtaking. the pool is warm the closet hid a bed and there were tvs in the master bedroom and the living/dining room area. the dishwasher was dirty inside and some of the plates were not cleaned well but the views and quiet and ease of access to downtown and sight seeing was worth a few seconds of dish scrubbing. What a pleasure to stay in such a nice place...

"This was the perfect location for our stay. We were a 1 mile drive from Magic Sands Beach and 1 mile drive to local shopping, dinning and entertainment! While we chose to drive everywhere, the location is totally walkable to all the attractions. Also, before booking I read reviews, and apparently other condos do not have AC. This one DOES have AC. "We really enjoyed our stay at Kona Reef. We lucked out and had a third floor unit with an amazing view (there are a few units without a good view) that made it for us. Quiet, clean, and the staff was very friendly and responsive. "

"Property itself was very nice but the unit was older and was in need of some updates and repairs; cupboard doors did not close properly, stains and tears on sectional, ice maker broken on fridge etc… Also found nail clippings on the bathroom floor. "The grounds are pretty and the view from the tide pool and "beach" is beautiful. Unit is like being at ABNB. Condiments in frig, foil, plastic wrap, etc in cabinets. We had a great 3 day stay and would stay again. Only issue was mold in the shower, which I wiped off with a clorox wipe and the air conditioner must be timed because it would default back to 78 after 12 hrs. It also shut off and fan ran but it was 80 degrees over night until I turned it off and back on again. Then it started cooling...

"It was a great place definitely would rent again. Only wish there was AC in this unit. It was hot sometimes. But we used all the fans to try and cool down the house. Other than that it was amazing! "

"The location was excellent. You could walk out to multiple shopping and dining options. Our unit was well furnished in kitchen and beach acutriments. The bed was not comfortable. And putting a sqishy piece of foam on a mediocre matress does not help. Sheets and coverings lumped up and slid around. And a small item, but for this price you shouldnt need to but TP. But overall we liked it. Beach chairs, coolers, swim fins, beach towels all there."
