The hotel was ok, nothing special. The room structure was weird as the bathroom is open plan and right next to your bed. I did not like this design as there is no privacy when using the bath. There was no tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was ok, decent selection of food. The hotel location is great to get around for eating out, shopping and tours in Manchester. Tram and train stations are close by. I specially booked this hotel for the spa. The spa area is very small. Sauna room is decent size but steam room is very small - could probably only fit 2/3 people max. The massage I booked was excellent but if you are after a spa experience with a nice relaxing area, this is not the hotel for that.

Host was great and was very friendly and near the centre would recommend.

The design, decor and layout of the room were homely I liked it. My only disappointment was the cleanliness which is not so much the establishment but the quality of the cleaners I found human hair all over the chair floor and bed, and the room temperature was inadequate it was never right but that is due to the brick design. I suspect these rooms are better in the summertime. I would stay again the staff were great, approachable and friendly.

Outstanding stay,top staff especially the manager Adam,the room had the best stocked fridge,a turntable and vinyl and a guitar,also managed a beer or 2 from the shower fridge!!! A dark room but once your feet hit the floor low lights come on and also in the bathroom to save switching the lights on,definitely one of best weekends away.
