After a great day exploring to return to our quiet countryside cottage for a relaxing glass while watching the sunset over the hills as the the horses enjoying a late night snack in the paddock and the swifts and bats doing tricks was wonderful . "Just spent two nights there for my son's wedding, what a fabulous chic place. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Excellent hot food served at all meals we had including the breakfasts. Bathroom in our room (23) was unbelievably hot with a fabulous rain shower. Not cheap but worth every penny, 5*"

"only stayed/booked for 2 nights . apart from room ( 5 ) being a little dark needing lights on all the time, it was a comfortable, pleasant stay. the foodELSO i had was excellent in my opinion and very hot. if in future i need to stay in Kelso , this will be the first place I ring. "

"Our stay was excellent , our original room was having maintenance work done so we were upgraded to a Boutique suite which was beautiful , staff were excellent and friendly , evening meal in the restaurant was excellent with a nice atmosphere , and the breakfast was spot on and well organised with no queue for anything and was very calm , all in all a very nice stay."

Wonderful weekend

"We had a very friendly welcome, and shown to our room, found the room clean and spacious,went for evening meal in the restaurant,staff very attentive,food was delicious and well presented. Went for breakfast and again delicious,staff always had a smile. Overall I would recommend a stay here . Went for cliff walk to the border, beautiful views easy access to motor way to visit other places."

Birthday Treat

"Luxurious hotel with beautiful rooms. Bed was super comfortable and huge. Gorgeous immaculately clean bathroom with rainfall shower and free standing bath. Leigh was so welcoming, helpful and professional. The Bistro staff were also great. Lovely breakfast selection. Great location. Lots to do and see nearby."
