Fully remodeled one bedroom, one bath, lakefront property with breathtaking views. Over-sized screened in porch with plenty of seating for relaxing with your morning coffee or for an afternoon nap. Upgraded kitchen with all new appliances and fully stocked for any meal prep needs. Upgraded bedroom includes a king size bed with top of the line bedding and mattress. Living room includes an additional twin size daybed. No Pets Allowed.


Property Includes:
You will have your own private dock on a secluded 35 acre stocked lake. Outdoor amenities include fishing gear, 2 kayaks, fire pit, charcoal grill (charcoal provided).

Come and enjoy the quiet, relaxing atmosphere of country lake life.
Lincoln Lake community offers a picnic area, playground, local creek and plenty of fishing.

We enjoyed the screened porch overlooking the lake, birds and turtles! The neighborhood is very peaceful and scenery was picturesque. The house is very comfortable and has everything we needed. We loved every minute of our stay. We will definitely be back!

It’s perfect! It was so peaceful and beautiful. My husband and I didn’t want to leave. Gloria the owner is the absolute best. She has everything set up for you. Anything you could need even snacks in the kitchen and charcoal for the grill. We definitely will be back!

Lovely little lake house
Property was immaculate! It’s obvious the owner takes excellent care of the home. The availability of 2 kayaks and life jackets was an added bonus that we didn’t realize how much we would enjoy. We kayaked around the lake at least twice each day, and enjoyed fishing off the small dock. Our 2 night stay was at the tail end of a busy week in New Orleans and we are so glad we ended our trip here. Highly recommend a stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Relax @The Blue Heron
The host is great, the cabin is great, and the deck overlooking the water is large, fully screened, and furnished. The Blue Heron is in a very quiet location and is ideal for just relaxing. I'm not really into birdwatching, but there is a large variety of birds to watch. I've never seen a kingfisher fishing before, so that was kind of fun to watch. The only downside is that there is no WiFi, so you may need to rely on a mobile hotspot. Apart from that, I highly recommend The Blue Heron - the host has put a lot of time and effort into making it a great vacation rental.

The property was very clean, pictures are accurate! The communication with the host was fast and very accommodating. We had fun fishing, seeing nature, grilling, warming up by the fire pit, watching sunsets and rises, and much needed peaceful rest. I highly recommend:)

The view of the lake is spectacular. The cabin itself is great, and was left comfortably stocked with amenities. The deck is almost the same size as the cabin, totally screened in with curtains to adjust views and privacy. Great fire pit, well maintained kayaks, paddles, and life jackets. Grill in good shape. Total serenity on the porch listening to the variety of wildlife. We saw tons of birds, heard some frogs, and coyotes or something similar in the distance at night. We did run across a huge snapping turtle while kayaking in the lake! Close proximity to Winchester and JD distillery. This trip was with my father for our annual dad and son trip, but the cabin was very romantic I'll have to bring the wife next time!

Quick get away
Very updated and clean property. Very private on small lske with lots of wildlife. Saw blue herrons, ducks, egrets, woodpeckers , deer and a bald eagle. Took a day trip to Tims Fork state park. Unfortunately the weather was cloudy and cold except for the day we left. Fall colors were just starting to turn pretty. Would recommend.

The lake house was so comfortable and decorated so adorable! The location was very quiet and sitting out on the screen porch is an absolute plus!
