This is a great value resort with lovely staff right on a beautiful stretch of beach. The spa is amazing. The food is a bit hit and miss but we still dined here every night so it’s not terrible. The photos don’t really do it justice.

Room door died twice. It was fixed once and the next time the door beeped all night because no one was there to fix it. Otherwise, the rooms ans grounds were great. The beach views were amazing

Great Service, Excellent Location

We booked an executive suit for three. The room was cleaned on daily basis. All amenities were functioning properly and we had a pool that was also cleaned everyday. The includes breakfast was satisfying and had everything we need. The beach was very close, the service in the beach was super fast. The prices in the restaurant is not cheap but also not too high to complain.

For the price, we think this property could be better maintained. We had a leak in our sink that was unable to be fixed during our stay. The room could have been cleaner overall. However, the location was great on the beach and the food at the hotel was delicious and reasonably priced.

I have travel to many beach resorts. By far this was the best place I have stayed at. What made the stay fun and enjoyable was the staff. Every employee was friendly and outgoing. The front desk was very helpful. Answered any question and was helpful. I could name people but it would be to many, everyone was great. Would love to come back one day.

Great Stay at Kendwa Rocks!

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. Very beautiful rooms, facilities and pool. The staff were so friendly, helpful and accommodating. The food was very good. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

We had wonderful holiday at Kendwa Rocks. Our villa was amazing and looks way better then on photos. The Full Moon Party is a great experience although I'd love to hear more international music. Beautiful beach with lots of entertainment options. Hope to be back one day! Thanks for having us.

This place is the beach resort experience we were looking for! Palapas, to lay under looking out over the beautiful sea, white sand, a pool and very friendly staff! The morning breakfast buffet had a lot of variety, the regular menu had plenty to choose from, and did I mention the staff was so pleasant! We stayed in the least expensive rooms bc we weren’t planning to spend much time there, they were more than sufficient with a comfy bed, cool AC and hot shower! It is a long walk from the rooms to the beach with a lot of stairs, we enjoyed the walk but it is not ADA friendly. We used the spa for a great haircut with Ali and lovely massages from Nuru, my son went sky diving with JJ, we booked an ATV tour with OSSELICHE Quad Tours and had a great time with Junior and crew. We had great service from Neha, Haji, Malele, Naheem, Frank and many others. And we enjoyed live entertainment, live music and bonfires at night. There may be more luxurious places but for our family with teens, it was perfect!

Overall good stay.

Kendwa Rocks was a nice place for us to stay a few nights. We stayed in a balcony room and I think after snooping around this was the best choice or room as others, especially those with a personal swimming pool were really exposed and not very private. They are undergoing building work and our building seemed fairly new which was nice. The restuarant and bar served good food that was reasonably priced which we appreciated as theres not really much else around. Its a nearly a brilliant place to go but attention to detail is not quite there yet. But you get what you pay for especially in that area and we enjoyed. It does have a backpacker feel to it as well which was fun but not expected.

Handy for Full Moon Party -wouldn't pick otherwise

Pros: - Great to stay onsite for Full Moon Party and be able to nip back to room during the night - Full moon party was fun and ticket price was included in stay - Beach is nice with plenty of sunloungers - nice to have regular staff service for food & drinks at sunlongers - easy location to get a taxi to CoccoBello for another party night Cons: - Shower water was only lukewarm so couldn't properly enjoy a shower - asked to have it fixed and it was not done - got the impression that it couldn't be improved? - wifi was almost useless - no wifi coverage in bedroom and again was told this was normal and it doesn't stretch to cover all rooms - wifi very intermitted and bad even in communal areas - room smelt musky / bad throughout - breakfast was quite basic / limited for such a big resort and more expensive cost of stay

Sehr hübsches und gepflegtes Zimmer, jeden Tag wird sehr sauber und gründlich gereinigt in der ganzen Hotelanlage. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist hervorragend und vielfältig köstlich. Das gesamte Personal ist überall sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit und entgegenkommend. Die Hotelanlage liegt direkt am Strand, prächtig und stilvoll- man fühlt sich sehr willkommen und es bietet eine wohltuende Atmosphäre für einen paradiesischen Urlaub. Ich würde sofort wieder dahin kommen.

Alors, je ne pense pas être un client chiant. Mais, je travaille dans un hotel 4 étoiles comme chef de cuisine, j'ai pris poulpe 🐙 qui n'est pas top, si tu payes par carte 3% en plus et si tu payes par espèce 5% c'est incroyable. De plus l'hôtel son taux concernant l'échange entre l'euro et shilling. Le personnel est vraiment agréable et très calme.

Struttura un po’ datata ma con camere confortevoli. Un po’ troppa disorganizzazione e lentezza al ristorante ma camerieri sempre disponibili. La spiaggia è molto bella e la struttura offre lettini ed ombrelloni agli ospiti. In generale non si ha la sensazione di essere in una spiaggia zanzibarina perché è davvero sovraffollata e piena di venditori di oggetti ed escursioni (nella porzione di mare davanti ai lettini sfrecciano moto d’acqua e barche con musica ad ultimo volume e c’è addirittura una costruzione di gonfiabili in mezzo al mare che deturpano parecchio il paesaggio!) Per chi vuole godersi la bellezza di Kendwa beach ma in un’atmosfera più rilassata e autentica forse sono consigliabili strutture nel tratto di spiaggia un po’ più a nord. Per chi cerca invece musica, confusione e intrattenimento Kendwa rocks è perfetta. Nel complesso, la valutazione della struttura è comunque positiva.

Kendwa Rocks: un buon villaggio! Abbiamo alloggiato 10 giorni in una camera tipla molto bella e con giusti spazi (due bagni ma uno con solo doccia e lavabo e uno con solo wc e lavabo), segnalo solo la mancanza di un armadio in cui riporre le cose. La zona ristorante è bellissima e soprattutto alla cucina VOTO 10, il cibo è buono e fresco e la scelta è molto ampia (sushi, pizza, italiano, locale ecc), il personale è gentile e disponibile ma i tempi di attesa sono troppo lunghi! La zona spiaggia invece, non è molto curata ed i lettini sono molto vicini tra loro (alcuni anche sporchi o rovinati). Non c’è un gruppo di animazione nel villaggio, ma alcuni giorni organizzano spettacoli, tutti i sabati c’è la festa in spiaggia con buffet e musica ed a giorni alterni è aperta la discoteca all’interno del villaggio (carina, musica prettamente locale). Voto complessivo 9!
