"The view of the lake was incredible. I strongly recommend one of the rooms facing the lake. If you can get it I was here in the middle of winter and during the Daragh storm and the whole place was just kind of magical because of the to be honest. The grounds are beautiful. I walked all the way round and I just can’t think of another place that is as pretty as this. To be honest, I’d probably give the food a miss if I went back again."

"From start to finish it was a lovely relaxing stay at The Brehon. Bar food was great and kane the barman was fab. He really looked after us. Dining room was also fab. Patric looked after our every need. Breakfast was plentiful and really good too. I had a massage and facial in the spa and i would highly recommend Irena. It was amazing. We stayed in one of the heritage rooms and it was really nice. Good hairdyer , diffuser and straightners provided. Robes and slippers and also a fridge. Beds were really comfy and the shower was great.100% we will be back to The Brehon."

"Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Asked for a coconut margarita and the bar staff member very kindly made this off menu. Hotel in a fab location and breakfast was one of the best we have had. The glazed ham for breakfast was beautiful "

"This is a top class hotel where everything is done to the highest standarfs and yet it remains friendly and un-fussy. Our superior deluxe room had loads of space and the lighting was good. The Falls restaurant is excellent and was the main reason for our one night stay "
