"This is a very unique property in that you check yourself in through a machine and locate your room by yourself. There is a communal dining area where you can prepare your own food. We had an issue with noise, being at the front of the hotel, and the manager who was present in the morning moved us and upgraded us to a remarkable room with a balcony! This is a beautiful property! It is very unique. The service was outstanding!"

"The owner was very good at communicating, although I only gave a 3 for accuracy of the listing because it stated there was a washing machine but one was not available. We were on a 3 week vacation so we were hoping to do some washing. However the kitchen was very well set up with an abundance of coffee and tea. The bedrooms are a good size and comfortable. I would recommend this property."

"Wir haben unseren ersten Aufenthalt an der Mosel sehr genossen. Die Wohnung, besonders die große Terasse mit tollem Ausblick, hatte alles was wir uns wünschen. Der Wein der Vermieterin war für uns der Beste und Trittenheim ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung, z.B. nach Trier. Von uns ein klare Empfehlung für alle, die etwas Abseits der Tourismushichburgen die wunderschöne Landschaft an der Mosel genießen wollen."

It's a little tricky to get to; but that was likely due to us not being from Germany/the area/understanding how the roads work. Once we understood how to get to it, it was a breeze to come and go. "We had some difficulty finding the apartment since GPS showed the location as the house to the left of the actually property. A picture in the listing to show the house from the road may help. The apartment is well stocked and very clean. We were very happy with our stay, enjoying the peaceful area, We visited Trier and Luxembourg which were a short drive away. Gisela was very pleasant and helpful. We were able to overcome the communications barrier with my limited German! Thank you"

"We could have done with lighter duvets as the room was to warm. We may have been able to cool it with the ventilation system but the noise would have kept us awake. The restaurant was too full for us at 9.00 on Saturday morning . We loaded up a tray which we took to our room but there were tables available, just not cleared."
