Beautiful Updated Kawama Townhouse. Marina, boat ramp, lagoon and pools.

This gorgeous 3 bedroom 3 full bath townhouse is located in the tropical neighborhood of Kawama. This unit underwent a full renovation which was completed on July 5 2018. It has porcelain wood plank tile floors throughout, a beautiful kitchen with stainless appliances and quartz counter tops and marble bathrooms. The unit also received all new furniture including king size beds for both master suites, televisions and decorations during the remodel. No expense has been spared!

Kawama is located in the heart of Key Largo just two miles south of John Pennekamp Park. There are near by fishing and dive boat fleets offering both group and private charters as well as many great local eateries offering the best in fresh sea-food and key lime pie. The Theater of the Sea and The Dolphin Research Center are both just miles away and both offer one on one dolphin interaction as well as many educational marine shows and tours. The famous Post Card Inn Resort and Sandbar (formerly known as Holiday Isle) is right down the road as well as the some of the best boating Florida has to offer.

The townhouse itself is a newly renovated end unit with a bright and spacious floor plan located right on the saltwater swimming lagoon. The first floor has one bedroom, one full bathroom and a family room with a 55 inch LED TV and a very comfortable L shaped sofa. The second floor features a bright open living room, updated kitchen with all new appliances, one full bathroom and front and rear balconies. The rear balcony has a screen enclosure and plush outdoor seating. The third floor houses the two master suites both complete with new furniture and private balconies as well as the spacious updated master bath. The unit also comes with a custom lifted 2015 Club Car golf cart which seats four and is perfect for exploring the grounds or driving out to the point for some fishing or breath taking views of the keys sunset.

Trailer parking and use of the community boat ramp is included with this rental. Dock slips are available in the Marina as well as kayaks and paddle boards.

Great townhouse community. Main floor provided plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Water pressure was excellent and the beds were very comfortable. Loved the golf cart... everyone has one for a reason. Clean, homey with plenty of parking. Will definitely come back when going to Key Largo.

The lagoon was very fun, it had some of the biggest parrot fish I've ever seen. I wish someone would get rid of the iguanas though! They created a smell near the lagoon. Obviously not a problem with the rental itself, every thing was comfortable and convenient. The pool was very nice and a short walk from the unit. We also zipped around in the golf cart.

Loved the location with the jetty close to watch the sunrise and set. The pools and lagoon was nice for the kids. The golf cart was also nice to have. I would say my only complaint would be the loud air conditioner and lots of ants in the house.

We booked a stay for 1 week and ended up staying 2 weeks because we enjoyed it so much. Jarrett was an amazing host and communicated with me throughout the stay if we had questions or needed anything. The townhouse was very clean with simple decor, which I loved. We will definently be booking again with Jarrett in the future. Book your stay, you wont regret it!

This place was so cute and the layout was perfect to provide each person with enough space! The complex has a nice pool and we saw lots of iguanas around. Only downside was the AC in the upstairs bedroom is extremely loud, like a hurricane is blowing through! But we got used to it and we’d definitely be back to stay here.

We had a great time. The condo is nice and clean and is very near Pennekamp state park. This is a great location for boating and fishing. Don’t expect a great Florida beach as that is not what the keys are all about. Instead it’s a frat area to snorkel, scuba, fish and boat. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

We stay at kawama every summer because we love the location and we can bring our boat and rent a slip at the marina. This was our first time staying at this unit, and in our opinion was the best. It’s been completely renovated and best of all the air conditioning units can keep up with the Florida summer. We also really enjoyed the fact that it came with a golf cart so we didn’t have to rent one. Next time we go to Key Largo, we will book this same rental.

This was an absolute gem. The property was exactly what we expected based on pictures from the website. The resort was fantastic with lots to do. Had kids ages from 7-17 and not a complaint from any of them due to boredom. Quiet, not a lot of people. Felt like we were locals. Host was very responsive to needs. We rented 2 units in Kawama Yacht Club to celebrate my parents 60th wedding anniversary. The unit was clean and beautiful, exactly as pictured. We had a great time kayaking in the ocean and feeding the fish in the lagoon. There were so many beautiful tropical fish to see in the lagoon. The covered pavilion was a great spot for our family to gather. The host was especially kind to send back an item we forgot.

We rented 3 Kawama units for an extended family Christmas vacation for 13 (with ages between 12 and 72). We rented 2 of Jarrett's units that share the same parking lot. There was adequate space to all eat together in each of these units. We enjoyed the kayaks, paddle boarding, and swimming in the lagoon. The golf carts made it easy to get around in the Kawama community which felt very safe for families.

Great rental for a family - must be able to walk up and down lots of stairs! Photos were accurate, modern but some furnishes starting to see damage from water/moisture. Pull out coach was ROUGH but all other beds were nice, plenty of bathrooms/showers. Great washer and dryer, super cute neighborhood, great choice if you like to hang by the pool, kayak and maybe eat in. Golf cart was awesome to have! Thanks!!

Overall, this property was well-appointed and enjoyable. The beds (except for the sofa-sleeper) were all so nice mattress-wise. The main detractors were the lack of instructions upon arriving. We had to communicate with the owners about where the kayak shed was, where the trash area was, etc. We normally get a sheet left for renters identifying various items of this purpose so that we don’t necessarily need to visit with the owners to figure these items out. We did ultimately really enjoy the property; it was just a bit annoying from the start.
