Summary:
Pilar Cottage is part of the quiet complex called "Harbor Walk Hideaways," located in the Historic Seaport district of Old Town Key West. This 1 bed, 1 bath studio comes with top-of-the-line furnishings, a small shared dipping pool with a waterfall feature, and spacious outdoor area to spend your days in the Florida sun.

The Space:
Pilar Cottage, named after the historic boat of Ernest Hemingway who frequented Key West, comes equipped with a super comfy Queen bed with a Tempur-Pedic mattress and a full-size futon style sleeper sofa. The studio offers large flat screen Smart TV, bedside lighting with charging outlets, full length mirror, ceiling fan and Keurig Coffee maker with complimentary coffee supplies.

The spacious and eloquently designed bathroom boasts tasteful decor and offers a granite vanity and walk-in shower. This property does not have a full kitchen, however, it does offer a mini fridge, microwave, & Keurig.

Guest Access:
Our contactless check-in procedure makes check-in easy. Guests will receive a personalized access code prior to check-in to enter the unit.

Shared features: Small shared dipping pool, deck and lounge spaces.

The Neighborhood:
Located right in the heart of the Historic Seaport District, you are within walking distance to popular bars and restaurants such as Conch Republic Bar & Grille, Kermit's Keylime Shoppe, Schooner Wharf, Dante's Pool Bar, Halfshell Rawbar, A&B Lobster House, and Waterfront Brewery. Watch gorgeous sunsets at nearby Mallory Square, or check out the vivacious night-life of world famous Duval St, just steps away.

Getting Around:
Parking Information: Please be advised that there is no designated parking at this property, however, there is a pay for parking lot across the street and another one located at 300 Grinell St nearby.

There are a variety of great ways to explore Key West including by bicycle, pedi-cab, moke, scooter, golf cart, Uber, Taxi, or by feet. As this unit is located in downtown Key West, many attractions are within walking distance. Feel free to ask us for recommendations!

- There is no on-site laundry at this property
Pets are welcome, but please let us know if you are planning to bring your furry friend(s). Please note that we do have a couple of requirements in place to keep our properties in tip-top shape.
1) Pets are to be no more than 40lbs.
2) We will add an additional $15 per night, per pet to your tab.
3) We have a two pet maximum.

Cute little cottage
This is a cute place and it is close to everything. We parked the car and then walked to everything we wanted to do. Small for 4 but was fine for a couple day stay. Would definitely stay here again!!

Perfectly located cottage
We loved our stay at Pliar’s Cottage. The location is fabulous; while in the middle of everything it is private. The cottage was adorably decorated & communication with the property staff was wonderful. We’d definitely stay here again but will bring earplugs for the early morning roosters! 😊

So Cute
We really enjoyed our stay here. Definitely only sleeps 3, as the futon isn't even a twin. Queen bed was very comfortable. Bathroom was 1/3 of the entire cabin. The outdoor space saved us. Location was fabulous. Half a block to where our snorkeling trip departed from. Multiple restaurants within a couple blocks. Only downsides: Parking added up quickly and room smelled like cigarette smoke.

Great Location!
This was a great little cottage. It was right in the middle of things but yet didn’t get bothered by any noise. They do a great job of making you feel “away” from things but yet Mallory and Duval are just a stroll away. Cottage was clean and communication was perfect as it wasn’t overbearing but I felt if I needed anything, all I had to do was ask. Luckily, never needed to contact them. They even texted us and let us check in around noon which was awesome. There was never an issue finding a parking space right outside the gate but it is pricey. I’d recommend E-Bikes or scooters if you needed to get around further than a walk. Only negatives (and I’m not even sure that is the right word) was that there was no closet or drawers to store clothes. Have to live out of your suitcase. And the walk-in shower tends to make a mess as the curtain is really high and doesn’t reach the floor so the water splashes on the bathroom floor. Nothing a couple of towels didn’t cure. I recommend Kermit’s cafe and Breakfast Club Too for breakfast as they are literally next door. Mr. Z’s pizza is always awesome as well.
