We asked to move rooms after finding the door to the fridge rusted through, rust on the lamps, caked dirt in the wicker furniture and mold and cracked tiles in the bathroom. They said they couldn't move us, but that the manager would contact us in the morning. They didn't. It was very cold that week and the room didn't have heat or weatherstripping around the door, so it was in the low 60s in our room. We had to run the very small dehumidifier for heat. There were old doors and patio furniture laying out on the ground outside our room. The staff was nice, and most of the grounds were as well. I liked the heated pool, but the room itself was not safe because of the rust and mold. Will not be staying here again.

We loved staying here. Great updated room, comfy bed, 2 pools, good breakfast. Staff were courteous & helpful. The thing that made Westwinds special was the garden area, just beautiful! Wish we could have stayed longer. No on-site parking, but there is a garage nearby.

Great stay. Great staff and very helpful. Room service daily was nice even without needing it. (Personal notes). I didn’t notice the check-in policy said you had to call 24 hrs before to check in until the day of the trip. Not a problem. They promptly called me back after leaving a voice mail saying it wasn’t a problem

Though my room was small, it was perfect for me. Everything worked, was clean and the staff was super friendly. I walked almost everywhere I wanted to go, and the few times I needed a bus, the Duval Loop bus has stops nearby. A microwave in my room might have been helpful for heating up some leftovers from lunch. I think others accommodations on the property might have microwaves. I would stay here again.

The place qas perfect. The entire staff was very friendly and the property was very clean. Very convenient to get to Duval St or wherever you wanted to go. Going back to Key West in December and definitely will be staying at Westwinds again!

A gem we were not expecting to find! We rode the Key West Express from Fort Myers and needed a convenient place to stay close to the ferry and where we could be in walking distance of town. This was not only convenient but a true gem to have stumbled upon. The property is beautiful and rooms perfect. The staff helpful and friendly. The pool area is so beautiful and tropical. The breakfast is continental style but set by the pool in your tropical paradise so you don't mind at all. We will be back to stay here again!

Conveniently located to downtown. The property has a pool area to relax around. You don't hear a lot of the noise and commotion being on a street that leads into the center.

We stay at Westwind Inn every year in Key West. It is a quiet, quaint place that offers everything that one needs. The location is close to everything and within walking distance. Victor, the manager, and his staff are friendly, approachable, and tend to our needs in a timely manner. Great place to stay!
