Perfect spot
Was a beautiful area with deer, turkeys, and a bull! Plenty of space for kids to run around, volleyball net up, old fashioned swing, small creek. Wonderful! Halway between Hermosa and Keystone! Rustic themed! Can tell owner is putting lots of work and love into! We needed a few more outlets and big house possibly a bigger hot water heater. Would love instructions on TVs but we slowly figured out(didn't really need a lot- just for Olympics) Thank you I loved the setup! So unique!

Great spot!
We loved staying on this property! The kids enjoyed the creek, swings and awesome slide. We loved hanging outside in the middle patio area, very private and cool. Property owner was very helpful when we taught him out for attractions & local guides. Great stay.

We made a wonderful Family Memory there!
We were a party of 12 - 6 adults and 6 kids. There was plenty of room for all and the Host was very accommodating to us. The view was great, all the spaces were lovely and comfortable. The SLIDE was used everyday by all the kids - even the 17 yr old! The beds were very comfortable, the appliances were new and there was plenty of space to park. We ran out of table space and wished for tray tables, lol, but we were completely happy nonetheless. Did I mention we had 12? The setting was awesome, there were deer or livestock around all the time. It was a short drive to Keystone-a great location for seeing the Hills. We named all the bulls and petted the horses - a treat for our city kids! None of us were fly fisherman (there's LOTS of opportunity for that there) but there is a Little Falls trail very close by that our small ones could drop bobbers into and caught their first trout! All in all a wonderful experience - thank you for sharing it with us! SO GLAD we came!

Keystone stay
Was very impressed with the house and immediate property. However we were never able to go for walks in our area because a bull was located right next to the property and the only area there was to walk. Felt very restricted to area without using a vehicle.

The location was great, it was a quite area and close to Keystone. The cows greeted us at night when we returned, and the turkeys kept us company in the mornings. I would stay here again.

Black Hills Vacay 2022
We loved our stay at Keystone Ranch! Four generations of our family stayed at the ranch for our black hills vacation, and the property was big enough for all of us! We all enjoyed the wildlife that roamed the property. The property was clean and close to all of the big attractions. The owner provided helpful local recommendations. Highly recommend!

We didn’t want to leave
The kids loved all the space. They caught crawfish in the stream, hiked, interacted with the horses and just ran and played. I have 10 children ages 2-16 and it was perfect for them all. They even had a high chair for my little one. The only thing I would suggest is having a few plastic dishes. We brought paper plates and cups, but giving glass bowls to toddlers is always a scary thing. We hope to be able to go back again.

Great Location and Size
The house was clean. Location was great if you like somewhat rural and close to activities. We packed food, so being a little far from restaurants didn’t matter to us. The property would be a great house for several families (we only had two adults and three kids so we barely used any of the space). The only other thing I’d add is that the house’s interior is a bit dated… but it was clean so we didn’t care much. We enjoyed our stay.

Memorable, Unique Experience
For those of you looking at this property, it’s described as a cabin but is more like a ranch, farmhouse. We pulled in late and were greeted by cows and horses 😁! The following morning we awoke to a beautiful setting along a river with deer, egrets and our ranch critters. The home itself and bunkhouse were extremely clean and comfortable. We’ve stayed at some truly stunning properties in South Dakota and this one beats every one of those experiences due to the uniqueness of the setting. It was a true memory maker!

Location A+
This property is the perfect location for Custer, Mt. Rushmore, Keystone, Bear Country, Reptile Garden, Adventure Park (across the street), etc. Very convenient. Great communication with the property manager. The property itself is probably a little more rustic than the photos show, but it is fine and if you use the bunkhouse (we didn't), there is lots of space to spread out for a large group.

Vacation House by Keystone
We stayed here with family and friends. We loved the location of the property! It was centrally located so that we could enjoy all of the tourist attractions in the area. We had 17 people staying in this house and it was ideal because the older adults stayed in the house and the young adults stayed in the the separate bunk house. We also loved that there was a washer/dryer, dishwasher, and a fully stocked kitchen. We enjoyed a fire every night and firewood was provided. Gloria (property manager) was very good at answering our emails. The only negative thing about this property is that it is not air conditioned. The only air conditioner was a wall air unit in the upstairs loft bedroom in the main house.
