"Lovely house and setting, cant complain about anything. Having toys, stair-gate, high chair available for the baby were very handy. An yes there are lots of hares around."

"The house has plenty of room with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, which makes for quick showers for everyone in the morning. The kitchen is nicely equipped and everything including the wash machine worked well. The town has a nice market just three doors down and is minutes from Donegal and other sites like Sliebh League cliffs. The rooms were comfy and quiet and our hosts were attentive and gracious. We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. "Ballydevitt Retreat is a comfortable home away from home in a great location. It is removed from the business of the town but an easy walk to the town Diamond. The home is spacious and comfortable. Paula, the host, communicates very quickly and is excellent at making sure guests have all their questions answered. I highly recommend this as a place to stay while exploring County Donegal."

"The house is clean and spacious Comes with everything Stayed during a severe storm which took out the hydro but the owner had someone there to check but it was the local hydro who were quick to fix in the morning Other than that the stay is wonderful Must visit the Rusty Mackerel and the cliffs close by "

Donna is very welcoming and even though the property is beside the main house, the Family leave guests to themselves with the caveat that if anything is needed, to just ask. 10/10 rental property."

"There's a lot to recommend this property -- great views, great location, good communication and easy access (finding the key and so on). There were two things that brought the rating down from 'excellent' to 'good' -- one of the beds was on its last legs and there was no shower. The bed was very squeaky, and upon inspection we found that the frame was split in several places. The lack of a shower was an issue mainly because we would have planned things differently if we had known that there...
