"This property was perfect! We were a group of 5, so we utilized the apart hotel. It was spacious and clean, allowed us to have communal space and private sleeping. Dining at the restaurant was fantastic. Jason was our server and he was amazing. Food was great, only a short 10 min walk to the Muckross Abbey and a breath taking lake. Hotel views bolstered mountains in the morning. Wonderful staff, we did not have time to utilize the spa but it looked beautiful. "

"The property management manager was very helpful and responsive.However the property is on the outskirts of Killarney and a 20 min walk in case you are going out at night in the town."

"We stayed at jack duggan pub. It was clean, comfortable and spacious accommodation and really fun to have the bar. On a busy road so some traffic noise but with windows closed it was fine. The house is well stocked, our host was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries. We went to the griffin for a nice pub dinner one night and the staff there were fabulous. "

"The house is absolutely fantastic. The decor the beds the size is incredible. We all loved it. The games room was a major plus for everyone. We did have 1 major fault - no hot water. There were 18 of us and there was only 1 shower that had warm water - all the rest were Baltic. 1 of the toilets was also broken - but this house is stunning. And we would definitely book again. "

Tesco has a fabulous laundry no cash, detergent or softener needed. We enjoyed day trips.The path directly across from cottage leads to a field , high enough for spectacular views."

The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking and entertaining our party of 7 (which got up to 11 at times for dining). The welcome basket was a wonderful surprise and thoughtful touch with the essentials, as well as wine and chocolate and a hand written note. The way the house is set up, our kids had their own "wing"...

Would not recommend for people leary of driving on a long, winding, narrow country road or those with certain disabilities as stone steps are steep going up to property. "Very nice hotel in excellent location. Killarney is a beautiful town and we thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days there. We enjoyed a nice couples massage at the spa. The service was excellent. Very good restaurants and bar in the hotel. The only issue we had was that the heat did not work in our room. The night manager gave us another room but it was a downgrade from king to queen bed, he insisted it was a king bed so we had to firmly request another move. Finally he got us into the King size...
