"Parkhouse B&B is incredibly well located to both Bunratty Castle and the Shannon Airport. In fact, it is right down the street from Bunratty Castle. Our host and hostess were so welcoming and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep before catching our flight home the next day. Fresh fruit, home-baked brown bread, and a choice of a hot breakfast plus a large pot of coffee rounded out our stay. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel was clean and comfortable. Check-in was easy and staff were friendly. Somehow we had a room for 4 instead of a room for 2 and that was confusing. Breakfast was fine - the staff were really good; the options for gluten free and dairy free were limited. "

"First time staying back here in a good few years. Hotel is as nice as ever, well maintained. The area around the hotel has been significantly build up since I was last here, but very safe. "We had an excellent stay and really enjoyed interacting with Margaret. She was very polite and attentive. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, I highly recommend this location. Its just a quick drive to the local shops, there is an amazing park with a castle in Portumna, and we were able to visit neighboring towns with ease. I was very impressed with the information Margaret provided. She was kind enough to print out a packet that contains everything you need to know during your stay....
