What an incredible find! This house exceeded all our expectations. It was cozy, comfortable, and absolutely spotless. The attention to detail and thoughtful extra touches made it feel like a true home away from home. Ann was a wonderful host—so welcoming and kind. Her warmth made our stay even more special. If you’re looking for a perfect retreat in Kerry, this is the place to be! We can’t wait to return.

Loved Rowan House
We had 4 adults staying at Rowan 8 days, house was in perfect location for our visit. We explored southwest portions of Ireland, from Cork to Galway and a lot in between. Ann was great and your house was perfect!

Ideal holiday house
We really enjoyed our stay at Rowan House. It was a very comfortable place to stay a bit longer during our otherwise dynamic roadtrip in Ireland. The area is super calm but both the Dingle peninsula and Kilarney are within easy driving distance. The house is cosy, comfortable and with personal character. Thank you for having us!

Perfect property!!
My family of 5 had a great stay at the Rowan House. Ann met us for check-in and gave us a quick tour. She was such a pleasant host. The house was immaculatly clean and perfect for our family. The farmlands around the house just add to the charm of the property. The location was great for our trips to Killarney, the Ring of Kerry, and Dingle. The kitchen was well stocked with glassware and cookware giving us the chance to cook breakfast each morning. Don't hesitate renting the Rowan House, you wont regret it.

Great stay in the country !
Had a great stay, the home is a nicely restored farmhouse and had everything we needed. The showers were great and the beds were comfy. We did make a few meals while we were there and the kitchen was well equipped. Very quiet location it was nice listening to cows mooing instead of cars beeping. Daly’s Riverside pub just down the road was a great bonus . Tralee was close for shopping. The location was great for us to explore the area and to drive the ring of Kerry….would we stay again.. in a heartbeat! Thanks Ann for a great stay !!

Amazing property
We had an amazing stay, with Rowan House as a peaceful home base for exploring the Ring of Kerry and Dingle. Would stay again at this clean, updated farmhouse with more than enough space for the four of us.

Wonderful property, fantastic host. Ideal for travelling around the area or, as we did, a base for a family wedding at Ballyseede castle. We couldn’t have wanted more Super - highly recommended

We had a wonderful stay at the Rowan house. Ann was lovely to communicate with and always responsive. The house slept 7 of us comfortably and the location was perfect for our adventures. Being outside of a town it was nice and tranquil. Everything was clean and I 100% recommend this property.

A great escape
We had a lovely time here. The house was great with plenty of space throughout and has been very nicely furnished. The location was great too in that it was only 8 mins away from Castleisland, where all the shops were, but yet felt a world away in the fields. A note on the check-in, the listing on Vrbo says check-in is 5pm earliest, but the letting agent sent us an email a week before saying check-in was strictly 5.30pm, which is rather late in the day. However, the owner told us that she lives locally and is happy to check guests in from 4pm.

Gorgeous rural County Kerry retreat with everything you could need
We have just returned from 1 week in Rowan House and can say we had the best week ever. The house exceeded expectations with everything you could want from a huge kitchen /diner, big family living room, 2 bathrooms.& lots of safe outside space suitable for kids of all ages The house had lots of board games for rainy days, lovely well equipped bedrooms and was set in the countryside which we loved. You will need a car as the house is well off the main road but we wanted somewhere quiet and in the middle of nature . Ann the owner was just at the end of the phone and greeted us when we arrived. Nothing was too much trouble. I highly recommend this beautiful Kerry idyl.
