We were two sisters on holiday with our mother from Canada, who traces her ancestry back to multiple location in Ireland, so Una’s rental was a perfect choice as it wa more central, yet still close to Dublin, giving us the best of both worlds. "Just the most dingy place to stay at such an outrageous price! Maybe if it was cheaper it wouldn’t be so bad but at the price it’s ridiculous! The showers would only work when the hot tap was also running, one shower door was loose and fell off, not to mention the the mold and peeling paint. "Una and Pat are great hosts. The lodging was absolutely wonderful. The village was quiet and peaceful and Tom enjoyed talking with the locals. Dinner at Weirs Pub and Restaurant was delightful. "I can not review this property fairly. I can review the Host which were awesome. There was an issue with the original property. Jody and John were able to make alternative accommodations for us. We were very pleased. It was in the same location, which you definitely need a vehicle for. We were able to visit many areas from here with ease. Communication was excellent, would rent again. "

"Nice place with a lovely view but takes too long to get to a main road 20minuets on small bumpy country roads in a larger than normal car was not a great experience there where lots to see and do close by Carrick on Shannon was not far away neither was Lough Key which has lots to do for the whole family but mostly only during the holiday season."

It was freezing cold, run down, beds worn out, mold in showers, 1 shower leaked all over the floor, no included breakfast, narrow spiral staircase to upstairs bedrooms.
