"The good bits: lovely wooded site; whole place was like a giant log cabin!; friendly, welcoming and helpful staff; cosy room with everything needed for an overnight stay. The not so good bits: dated bathroom; weird uneven floor in room; tired bed; noisy at certain times as close to exit door to the leisure and spa facilities - constant banging. I didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food or restaurant service. "
