"Treat yourself to this amazing, cozy and friendly little property. The owners are very kind and helpful and happy to share information about their farm. The animals are so well cared for and you can interact with them if you choose. We got up close tor the cows, lambs, horse and llamas— along with a few friendly barn cats. The views are breathtaking and serene. The cottage is cute and has everything you need to be comfortable. It was private, peaceful and provided a great little retreat. We will...

"Great size property. Just a couple of small things could be addressed. Wi-Fi didn’t work, handle on the toilet needs fixing. Would have been nice to have seating in back garden. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels available and nice clean bed linen."

"Stayed here over the Easter long weekend, at very late notice (booked on Friday night for Saturday arrival). The owner had left easter eggs for my three sons which was a lovely touch. The house itself is beautiful; it looks to be only recently built so I would say we were one of the first groups to rent it. It had everything we needed and was only a couple of minutes walk from the beach. I would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back here again in the future."

"From the time we booked through our entire stay we were taken care of by Liz who made our stay awesome. The house was great in the rural setting we were looking for with a restaurant/pub just down the driveway. If we had any questions she responded quickly and helped us. I would highly recommend staying here and enjoying the historic building. We left after a month and said good bye to a new friend. Blessed!"

"There was a hidden utility fee of 10 Euros per day. Other than that, the house was large with four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Dishwasher was missing wheels and racks were bent. Supplies were minimal in kitchen."

We enjoyed walking the strands with old and new friends, meeting up for lunch dates with Bill’s cousin, visiting other cousins and friends! Our friends, who traveled with us,thouroghly enjoyed the comforts afforded at Hilltown, the beauty of the country-side and exploring what Donegal has to offer. We are already looking forward to planning another visit back to Ireland!"
