"We had a really relaxing time here. The cottage is small but that suited us, and the view across the fields filled with all kind of wildlife was superb (not forgetting the chickens next to us and the three walking ducks!). And the huge windmill next to the canal is something to behold. Hans, the host, was really welcoming and helpful and if you want to lean more about the windmill then Google 'Vrouwgeest windmill' and learn how it has been in his family since 1797. "The cabins were good even though I think the beds are to soft but thats just my peronal oppinion. In general is the park nice and I guess it will get even beter when the plants/trees grow over the coming years. I think they could do a little better by cleaning the gras and ponds in the park. I saw quite some plastic and stuff laying in the water and here and there. But besides that it is a nice place =)"

"The location is a haven of tranquillity, perfect for relaxing. The house is spacious enough to accommodate the whole family. Although being on a canal, there are quite a few spiders and mosquitoes. But this can be solved by bringing mosquito repellent bracelets and plugs."

"The house was immaculate and in a lovely location opposite a canal. The house was set up well with insect netting to prevent the flies getting in. There were chickens outside where we found eggs and lovely views of the cows in the neighbouring fields. A great stay!"

"My wife and me spent 3 nights in this lovely little house. Even if this house is quite small, it is well organized inside and we really enjoyed staying there.
