The location is great for visiting the National Park. There is a local restaurant you can walk to. The food is not the best but it’s great you can walk to it. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. The Bed might need to be replaced soon in the room we stayed because it was really uncomfortable.
Great location for hikes and all that the national parks have to offer. Especially loved the cabin atmosphere with board games and activities. Rooms were clean, but fairly loud noise from gas pipe made it difficult to sleep.
Beautiful lodge with friendly personal. Rooms were good size and clean. Hot coffee in the lobby with a very large selection of table games for families to play. Saw a black bear 15 minutes after checking in. No threat but nice to watch in the wild.

Room and facilities were nice. There were signs of wear and tear in hallways and stairwell carpets.
Great place to stay inside the park. Has everything you need and nice rooms.

Disliked: Amenities
Meets the bare necessities, and due to its location, it's a good place to stay.
The beds are fine, comfortable enough.
The HVAC can use a stronger fan to move for air (the room can get stale).
The shower head needs to be descaled for better flow.
It would be nice to include a microwave inside the room.
We loved it here, sad we only stayed one night. Nice size room, clean, good facilities the lodge had a lovely feel to it. Great base for the giant sequoias and Kings Canyon.
Would definitely recommend.
Overall a great stay at the lodge. The li action is unbeatable and we even got snow! The room was clean and comfortable. Although the shower pressure is low but ut got the job done. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Cody and Angie who really went the extra mile!
