"Just spent 2 nights at The Hope & Anchor and had a fantastic stay. We arrived on Boxing Day a bit early for check in and although the restaurant was packed and the staff were really busy we got a very warm welcome and were able to go to our room. We had lunch and evening meal on the first day which were excellent. The breakfast was lovely (scrambled eggs were perfect and the overnight oats excellent). The room was very clean and warm with a nice view of the sea. There was a lovely welcome bag for the dog with lots of thoughtful things included. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The young girl serving breakfasts was particularly good. We were able to park on the road in front of the pub as it was out of season and the costs of the car park next door were reasonable. Will be booking again for next year!"

"It is an absolutely brilliant hotel. Well situated and has all the amenities needed to keep the entire family happy. I went in the winter so mist be even better in the summer when the outdoor pool is open and the suns out."
