"Stayed here to visit family in both Stoke on Trent and Bolton and this was roughly in between. Had a wonderful peaceful time here and wished we could have stayed longer. Hope to go back again sometime. "

"Wonderful stone converted coach house, very cosy, helpful owner, lots of bits and bobs in the cupboards, everything thought of, good sized rooms too… great facilities and a huge amount of logs and kindling supplied for the wood burner. Heating system worked brilliantly when we needed it as we were snowed in last two days. The perfect place to walk from direct, We found wonderful walks from our doorstep. The cottage is lovely, in a lovely sertting but it is very damp with mould around the windows and mildew on the curtains. "We had a great stay here. The room was comfortable clean and nice views of the pool. The staff were excellent making sure our stay was memorable especially the brown haired girl on reception she went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time and shown us the highlights of Matlock thank you. Breakfast was great and the bar area with the band and vynl Dj was great. The natural therma swimming pool was unique and great. Life guard was very chatty and helped us understand how it worked from the underground stream. "
