"The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. "We had a wonderful week in this cabin. While indoors might be not the coziest. The backyard is a wonderful place to spend your days. Sitting by the river. Swimming. Kayaking. Make fires at night. Listening to the complete silence. Very nice place to just unwind and read some good books. We had some problems with the toilet/septic tank. But it was all taken care of by the owner very quickly and friendly."
