Disappointing accommodation
The property itself was beautiful. Front deck was nice other than the furniture and deck needing some TLC. We arrived to find a total of 3 towels in the property for a 4 bedroom house. There were no bath mats, face cloths, hand towels etc. In the kitchen there was a plate of food and large drink container left in the fridge. There were very few glasses where no more than 2 were the same. The plates and silverware were all mismatching and the knives were not sharp enough to cut fruit. The property advertised a fireplace and bbq but failed to explain to guests you have to “bring your own propane tank for each”. The water sources on the property only reached a Luke warm temperature at best which made for very uncomfortable bathing. The TV wouldn’t work and upon further troubleshooting we resolved this issue by simply buying new batteries and changing them. The washer and dryer in the property are extremely old and dated and when they run they make enough noise to start a party. The dryer door needs attention as you need to close it with force.
All and all this was a very disappointing accommodation.
With some attention to detail and a desire to make things better for guests this property could be much more pleasant.
