Hey, Get A Room is a studio apartment that is privately located on the ground level of a home surrounded by beautiful live oak trees. You'll have your own private deck to relax after a day at the beach or site sightseeing'. It's only a five minute bike ride to the beach or sound for those beautiful sunsets and many awesome restaurants to enjoy.
There's a public beach access with parking and a bath house 2 minutes away by car.

Short notice- wonderful stay
The hurricane evacuated us from Our vacation but we were able to enjoy time at the Outer Banks in this nice quaint apartment. Lots to do in the area and less than a mile from the beach. Thank you Holli for making it work for us!

Little Spot in OBX w/ Big Coziness & Convenience!
This is a wonderful little gem at the 4.5 MP in OBX. The accommodations and host are top notch. You arrive to a nice neighborhood and find a marked dedicated parking spot in the driveway. A welcoming outdoor space greets you with lovely lounge area and just beyond a great set up for chillin' while taking in the beautiful nature in the backyard. You enter through a fun orange door and discover the comfortable abode with ample place for your bags and other items. Everything is thoughtfully laid out and furnished, including a kitchenette area, a counter with seating, walk-in closet, queen bed, and bathroom (great shower!). Holli has supplied all that you need for your stay -- convenience items, a few bottled waters, extra blankets and pillows, etc. The location of the unit is close to the beach, bike trail, plenty of restaurants (both fast food and finer dining), convenience shopping, WalMart, and more. A pair of bikes are furnished for your convenience too. The photos and description in the listing are spot on -- this place is super cute and HGTV worthy! So, if you need a comfortable crash pad in OBX, no need to look further. Enjoy "Get a Room."

A MUST STAY
We had the BEST trip to OBX. We are first timers, and we won’t vacation anywhere else from here on out. Holli provided us with so many recommendations on things to do and places to eat- all of which were hits! Holli was also extremely accommodating in the check in and check out process. This specific spot is located perfect in OBX. It’s not directly on the main strip, but still in walking/riding/driving distance to all the main attractions. The inside of the place is so cute and cozy. There is also cozy outdoor seating. Can’t wait to go back!!

EXCEPTIONAL HOST & PROPERTY
Every once in a while you find a hostess that is exceptional. Holli is exactly that – exceptional! She has thought of everything at “Hey, Get a Room”. We didn’t have to run out and buy one thing. The studio was very clean, well-organized, comfortable and cozy. When we arrived I had trouble with the door (my fault) and Holli was right there to help. Once inside we found the studio to be fully- stocked with lots of amenities: • A Keurig machine to make coffee each morning with K-cups provided! • A Sound Machine • Lovely crystal, fluffy towels, kitchen utensils of every kind. Some of the other highlights: • Great location – close to many restaurants, shops and the beach! • Clear, quick and kind communication by Holli • Quiet Neighborhood & friendly neighbors • Lots of privacy The biggest surprise was The Sound Machine. What a nice touch. I don’t use one at home, but I loved having it lull us to sleep each night; and, the bed was very comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was relaxing with a cocktail on the deck beside a lovely fire in the chimnea. The deck is also a great place to bird watch! This property was perfect for our long weekend! It was clean and had everything we needed! Great size for the 2 of us. While we didn’t use the bikes or outdoor shower it’s a great option. We loved that the beach was a 3 minute drive! Made the sunrise more doable! Would definitely stay and recommend!

Very convenient to restaurant’s (Hurricane Mo’s, Black Stallion, Barefoot Bernies) and the beach, but just far enough away to avoid crowds and traffic. We just showed up, everything we needed at the studio apt and for the beach was there for us to use.

This rental is small, but mighty! Great location about the area of Croatan Hwy and Kitty Hawk Rd; easily walkable. Quiet residential neighborhood. Dedicated off street parking with easy access. The unit itself is a modest-sized downstairs studio (and includes a covered outdoor space), cleverly and comfortably furnished with right-sized furniture leaving more than ample light, air and walking around area -- no problem with managing space for luggage, shopping, etc. The owner has a background in, among other things, hospitality, and it shows in the appointments. Every single thing I could think of or want ( more) was there, and of nice quality, e.g., the towels were luxurious and the knives were sharp (I've never had sharp knives in any VRBO rental before!). The owner didn't overlook a single detail in making this rental ultra convenient and comfortable for guests. The rental was just great, and the owner was even better; the epitome of professional, timely and responsive. My flights were running late and I ended up arriving at the property quite late at night, but the owner was expecting me and immediately welcomed me with helpful hints re: the HVAC controls, etc. Don't let the size of this rental fool you! If you are looking for accommodations about this area for 1 of 2 people, I couldn't recommend this rental more highly.
