Sea Breezes North - Just Steps To The Beach!

Sitting just 100 yds from the beach, Sea Breezes North is inviting and comfortable the minute you walk through the door. Each side of the duplex has 2 bedrooms, 1 bath, and a living/dining/kitchen area. A unique sliding wall allows for rental of both sides with a common dining area, (when the wall is open). Each kitchen is fully equipped. There is cable TV, DVD, and wifi, a private deck with grill and heavenly outside showers on each side. The Town of Southern Shores was founded on volunteerism and continues to be cared for by a strong team of members of the community. It is a community committed to preserving a safe, family friendly beach and sound area. Beach and sound access is limited to property owners and renters, so over-crowding is not an issue. Access to the beach from Sea Breezes Cottage is a short 100 yard walk. Although across the street from the beach access path, the cottage is in a strictly enforced 25 mph zone of Ocean Blvd, making crossing the street easy and safe. The North side of the cottage is identical to the South side unit except in bedding. On this side, there is one bedroom that has bunk beds plus an additional twin. The second bedroom has a king size bed. There is also a queen size sleep sofa in the living area.

Please note we do not have laundry machines at the cottage, so we do not provide linens. There are linen services in the area that can provide these if you do not want to pack them. We do have pillows with protective covers, blankets and bed spreads. You will need to bring your own sheets, bath towels, kitchen towels, and beach towels.

Cozy cottage for easy beach living

Weekend Family Get-a-way

Lodgings were perfect fir family, nice and homey. Since we were going to enjoy the fun family activities that the area offered, it was perfect with just a short walk across the street to the beach.

Convenient location

Great location. Short distance to Nags Head, Corolla, and Kitty Hawk. Easy to locate. Shopping and amenities close by. Landscaping could use some work as the house was a little hidden. Easy to get to the beach. Overall was convenient and comfortable with the feel of a quaint cottage.

Love the outer Banks off season

I had quick responses from owner prior to booking. Our family had wonderful time on the beach ( we all swam), sunset at Jockey’s Ridge State Park, golfing and visiting the Currituck Lighthouse and park area. Perfect location!

Perfect stay!

This classic outer banks flat top is the perfect location next to a beach access. The landscaping in front provides privacy and a beautiful view from the window seat. The house is loaded with vintage charm, well furnished, clean and beds are comfortable. Hosts are responsive and check in was smooth. Enjoy your stay!

Comfortable and so close to the beach!

Wonderful old flat top cottage! Very short walk to the beach. Sad that several huge, multistory homes are so close—one was noisy, one had windows that could look directly into our patio area. We lucked out with our duplex neighbors, but that is always an unknown with renting half of a duplex.

OBX girls trip

Home was older but very convenient to everything. Was clean and had lots of space. 4 women stayed and had no problems. Loved we could just walk across the street to the beach. I would stay here again.

Great location

We enjoyed the location and went to the beach every day which was just about across the road and up some steps. The house reminded me of camping cabins and we were comfortable bringing our own sheets, towels, cooking oil, toilet paper, etc. We also primarily used the outdoors shower.

Great little place

Great little house just across the street from the beach. There was almost no traffic on the street. Very quiet . Close to stores and restaurants. It was just what we needed for a our weekend gateway!

Comfortable beds and in great location

Only stayed for a couple of days before heading to GA to drop daughter at college. But we wished we had stayed longer as stay was great. Beds were very comfortable and only had a short walk to the beach. When internet was down we reached out to owner and we had it resolved very quickly. Location was great, fair price and would highly recommend to all.

Fantastic weekend

My sister-in-law and I decided last moment to take the kids to the beach for the weekend. The house was absolutely perfect. Its small but very comfy with everything you could need. The fact that we could walk across the road to the beach and be there under 2 minutes made it even more perfect. We will definitely be back for another visit!

Cozy, charming, "lost in time" in a wonderful way

I spent a special week with my 11-year old son here. This charming cozy bungalow couldn't have been a more perfect fit for us. It is a true gem, an original post-war bungalow hidden among the newer castles. Dark wood interior, so nostalgic. Everything worked fine too. But most of all, the rooms and and feel were cozy, timeless.

Sweet for an authentic space. Dates back to the 60’s

This place has everything you need. All the basics. It’s charming and sweet. If you’re used to bright white and super clean, I would just say that this is like a cabin on the beach. The walk is just about 120yards. You can hear the waves at night with the windows open. The owner is very helpful and is very quick with responses. I have been at $10k places, but this is super special. Rent both sides and you have two kitchen for a feast.

My stay

Clean, quiet neighborhood and street, close to beach. Guests on both sides of duplex need to encouraged to respect late night hours. Last family that moved in n X-ray door allowed small kids to scream until very late and they also threw toys up against the wall separating the apartments apartments. Without that, the place is perfect
