"Stayed for three nights in September 2024. Lovely rooms, very comfortable and good bathrooms. Those were the positives. The negatives were that the Como Bar (advertised as closing at 1am every day) was never open, there were never any staff in reception, there was a vending machine that served basic food and soft and alcoholic drinks but only took cash, the wifi password supplied on our invoice was blank but did not work, and when we emailed the hotel asking about the bar and wifi, they did not...

"A truly beautiful hotel, all details thought of and well managed - such as a bed side light switch which turns off ALL lights. How many times have you had to run around a hotel room trying to turn off all lights including the decorative ones? The place oozes class and its spa is lovely."

"Hotel is very good and the ambiance and food is excellent, although the menu is not large. The quality of the food is typically German, well presented and tasted very nice!! Parking is the challenge. The hotel has only about 6 to 7 spaces at the front, then parking is on the road outside and overnight and only until 10:00am. Works well for business users as we usually leave early and return whne the shops have closed."

"It is in the grounds of a castle, you can walk around the grounds. he road to it can be easily missed but as it is in a small village you will not get lost. The hotel is new , the bed was a little too hard for my liking. I had to change room as the room was not made up but the staff sorted me out with a new room quickly. the top class restaurant next door in the chateau by the moat is was not open on the day i went but the hotel has a limited but very good food. Immediately when coming in we noticed how there was only one chair in front of the TV, meaning that only one of us could sit there to watch it which is a strange set up as previously I had a sofa there for 2. Moving on to the bathroom, although this was quite clean, the shower doors did not prevent any water leaking from the shower when in use. "As always - great warm welcome at this hotel. "Welcome Home" brought a smile to my face. Thank you. Restaurant provides really great food and the rooms are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Much prefer to stay here than the larger hotels in Paderborn as it is also really quiet to aid a good night's sleep"
