"I was traveling for business. Room was very clean and except for the mattress being soft, was very comfortable. Not the most luxurious place, but I didn't need luxury. Just clean and comfortable"

"We enjoyed our stay at 171 Gary very much! It was easy to find, in a pleasant neighborhood but close to a main road. We found it clean & uncluttered, nicely decorated and comfortable - such a pleasant environment to spend time in. This home is well taken care of, and guests needs are well - anticipated, with coffee, tea and sweetners on the counter by the fridge, to games in the family room, books & cookbooks to peruse, to the Wifi password being visible where most likely needed, etc. The host was good about communicating with us promptly for any questions she or we had. A binder left on the kitchen counter giving information for our stay and expectations was very helpful. The patio out back will also be a pleasant space for those who stay during warmer weather. "We wanted waterfront simply for the view and these views were excellent! Would like to thank the host for providing the snow for a "white Christmas" ;) We cooked our Christmas dinner at the property and found the kitchen and supplies to be great. The fireplace was cozy!The only negative was that there was no snow shovel or broom to clear the doorway and path, which made those areas very slippery; although the driveway got plowed after the previous nights snow.Thank you and definitely recommend this property."

"This property is located on a dead-end road so very little traffic. Beautiful views, great location and very friendly neighbors. We went into Rochester a few times and enjoyed our time there, but found we all liked just hanging at the property. Now, I read the reviews about the door lock not being safe and it was disappointing to find after the reviews about this the door still hasn't been replaced. With that being said, the neighborhood is very qiuet and rural. We would definitely come back."
