The B&B is placed right in the town, parking is a little way so if you had a larger bag you would have to drop off first, but very cheap. The host was nice and welcoming, the room was very clean with a good drinks offer. The room was very warm intact to warm.. the shower was very slow but lots of hot water. Chooses of places to eat great with a mix of food, we went to a curry house and was very impressed $$ cost. Lots of cheaper in area. Overall I’m not sure about the price a little high, but you’re paying for the area.

A lovely short stay at Kirkgate House. Karen was very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic. Everything was very clean and the room was lovely, although it is a bit of a strange entrance to the rooms through the garage! Only slight downside is the water pressure, which means the shower isn't great!

Great location, bedroom overlooked the courtyard and castle. Lots of extra touches in the bedroom. The breakfast was excellent and well presented and the hosts were both friendly and helpful with their local knowledge. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing to isit Knaresborough.

Kirkgate House is a lovely place to stay. Friendly hosts. Delicious breakfasts. Nice clean and cosy rooms. Near to station to York and Harrogate. Nice places to eat and drink nearby. A lovely few days away .

Perfect for exploring beautiful Knaresborough
Friendly welcome, lovely hosts, small room but perfectly formed with everything you need…the fan was much appreciated. Room and bathroom were spotlessly clean, breakfast was delicious. Parking was a bit tricky early in the day but we were able to move the car later to only a couple of minutes away.

Very clean and comfortable accommodation in this well run B&B right in the town centre, but on a quiet street. We were made to feel very welcome and couldn't think of a single criticism. The breakfast was excellent too and plenty of choice.

Overnight stay
Situated in the centre of Knaresbirough, convenient for everything, nearby cheap parking. Room very nice, added extras of dilute orange juice, chocolate bars and toffees beside the usual and fresh milk from fridge on landing, much better than sachets. Karen and her husband both very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was spot on.
