The onsen facilities were excellent - exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy the amazing surroundings. The kaiseki dinner on the 1st night and the Kobe beef on the 2nd night were excellent. A traditional onsen hotel in Arima. Staff were great and helpful who helped us with the heavy luggage up and down the hotel’s pebble staircase amid heavy rain. Great compliments to the amazing staff! But the biggest issue was, we found hair in the bed when first turned down the bedding. This was shockingly scary and caused my sleep to be disturbed. First time seeing this in a Japanese hotel, in my over 30 visits to the country.
