"I really enjoyed my stay at sandbank, I only booked 3 days there because I thought sleeping in a tent might get old quickly but I could easily have stayed The staff quickly realised I was on my own and encouraged me to take kayak and snorkel at heavily discounted prices.. Like I actual felt bad when I heard the real price They even let me go along with them on the grocery trip by boat to the main port and I saw such a beautiful sunset it was amazing.. They even both me beers while I waited...

"Amazing location and great place to stay. The staff were incredibly helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed it and with a few minor changes would be an excellent place and highly recommend to everyone. The only minor squiggles where the fact the pool was out of action for one of our two main days we were there which was disappointing, noisy building work going on right by the pool area when you’re trying to relax and the fact they charge high prices without really providing the expected service to match. "Friendly owners. I told them I was unwell and they wanted to get me medicine and things. They helped me with the ac remote as I struggle to use them. The tours they offer are good the people running them are very down to earth. There’s two cute dogs at the reception and they have electrolytes in the room that I found a nice caring touch. "If you're looking for a stay that isn't your typical hotel room style, this is the place. Because the room is its own separate building, you get to have the freedom to make as much noise as you like without worrying about the neighbors complaints. And it's uniquely designed - pretty awesome looking. I booked my stay after the New Year and so the resort was completely quiet and serene. Perhaps also because it's a more secluded resort, away from the party area. Staff were great, and food was delicious. No complaints here. I would definitely stay here again. "

"Great location with infinity swimming pool and restaurant overlooking the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast, comfortable room. Easy walk to the other side of the island to snorkel, renting the snorkel etc. from the padi office at the hotel. Plenty of bars/restaurants with lively evening entertainment and places to book activities (the trip to swim with the bioluminescent plankton at night is amazing and highly recommended!) along the beach. A lovely relaxing hotel to stay on the island."
