"The pool doesn’t have jets or a circulation filter and is full of insects. The nightclub is behind the resort on top the hill and you hear loud music at night. The walls are paper thin and you hear other guests and workers banging on metal. "

"My stay at the Kantary Bay Hotel Rayong was phenomenal! The staff was outstanding, ensuring every moment was enjoyable. Its prime location made exploring a breeze. Check-in was incredibly efficient, and the hotel’s Italian restaurant delivered unforgettable meals. I started each day with their fantastic breakfast buffet, which had so many delicious options. "Best beach on island in my opinion. Room needs tlc. Bed ok quite peaceful. Transportation is quite expensive to anywhere. Nice restaurants walkable. Need more beach chairs as have the people who put towels on chairs and leave for hours. Hate that. All spots gone by 7 am and nobody there until hours or never. Buffet ok Bed ok"

Lovely hotel on secluded beach

"The bungalows were big and clean, good bed and bathroom. The surroundings were beautiful The beach were amazing! Best sand ever seen! No stones or garbage. Plants of space, very few people. Turquoise beautiful water. Staff very friendly. Good breakfast. The gym was the least good thing - small, broken equipment, air conditioning sometimes not working. "

Happy Customer

"This was a really nice place to stay. The pool was lovely, the sun loungers were comfortable and the sea was heaven. We stayed for 2 nights. Ate a couple of times in the restaurant (which was very nice) and hired out kayaks from them for only 300 baht an hour. Only flaw was the cost of laundry. The staff were so helpful and the stay was excellent."

"Samed Pavilion is a convenient base for this area of the island. Whilst not the most luxurious stay in the area, it is clean, pleasant and the staff are friendly and efficient. Strongly recommend for those who prefer to enjoy beach life rather than spend all their time on holiday in a hotel. "

Ideal beach getaway

"Great hotel close to the beach. Ideal location not far from the pier and main areas. Location of restaurant and cafe on the beach is great. Friendly staff and service would def book again. Only negative to say would be the room and pillows smell a bit musty but generally was clean and comfortable. "
