"This is not a chain hotel but a lovely traditional hotel in town that is not far from Munich. The staff was very helpful, town is small "real German town" not a big city but only 1/2 an hour away but the train was only 2 blocks from the hotel. And it ran every 20 minutes. We found 4 good restaurants that were all within walking distance, few stores, with very friendly people. I highly recommend this hotel for a true German Experience and an EZ trip to Munich without the hassle of driving"

"This is a really very nice hotel with absolutely superb staff and a wonderful spa. Breakfast is excellent and the view from lake-facing rooms amazing. Why four, rather than five stars? First there is no room service. The reason given for this is that the hotel is spread over a large area and the hotel does not want to deliver sub-standard food. Fine, but if Deliveroo etc can deliver piping hot food across a town I’m sure this hotel could do perfectly decent room service if it wanted to. More...

"Great stay st Bachmair Weissach. The hotel is beautiful. Particularly the stream that runs through it and the spa. Rooms are spacious, clean and quite nice. But there’s no a/c. It can get quite hot during the day. Staff was nice and attentive. Although service was a bit slow at times. Nothing too bad to detract from a wonderful experience"
