"Toyoko Inn is conveniently located close to Kagoshimachuo Station - a major transportation and business center, therefore close to shopping and restaurants. The large Toyoko Inn sign on a building is a little misleading, as the Inn itself is next door, closer to the station. The only downside to some is that the facility is a little dated but very functional. "

"A great location right next to the airport bus station and near to the JR station.Many shops and restaurants are also close by. Our room had a superb view of Sakura-san volcano which puffed a bit as we were flying in but was quiet for our stay Our only problem was with the limited space for opening our suitcases though we thought the overall room size was reasonable. The layout made that dufficult. Would stay there again. "

"A great, modern little apartment, with everything you need for a short stay. Comfortable beds. We had a ground floor apartment which was a little bit dark and cold for a winter visit, but fine for one night. Ask for upper floor if staying longer. "The German inspired style of the room and furniture was fun and interesting. There were some parts of the room that could be updated (There was a lamp shade that was cracked and the bathroom had some water damage). The shampoo/conditioner bar was so much fun as you got to pick which ones were your favorite and bring some to your room. The breakfast was also really good. The location is really close to the main station so it was easy to take public transfer to and from there."
