"I doubt Hermannplatz is a big tourist destination - it's a very mixed area - but I was here to visit an old friend nearby, who recommended Hotel L van B, and it is an absolute find. Staff delightful. Rooms spacious, clean, comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever had in any hotel. Right next door are ATM, mini-supermarket, a nice Italian restaurant... and a Hindu temple to Ganesh! Warmly recommended, I' shall be back."

"The hotel is overpriced. Looked better online than it really is. Still a great hotel, though. Clean and comfortable. The gym is not good, very basic and lacks weights. Same as the sauna - it wasn't even working most of the days I stayed there. The phone in the room wasn't working, so I couldn't call the receptionist anytime. The breakfast is VERY average and super overpriced, it also looked much better online than it truly is. The area though is amazing, very central and easy to get around. "

"The Hotel is really close to various amenities—restaurants, bars. It's a lively area, but it's not noisy. I would avoid going during a heat wave, as the hotel is not air conditioned, and the higher floors can get warm real fast."

"My second stay in this hotel. Hotel is about a 15 minute walk to potsdammer platz and is easily connected to the airport. Its on the sbahn The hotel itself is very nice imo. Arrived at about 10.30am and for the second time i was allowed check in early.
