"Staff was great. Castle view I paid for, didn’t see the castle behind the shrubbery. No AC which we expected but also no ventilation. Couldn’t open window on ground floor for safety reasons so ended up with a downgraded room on 2nd floor so we could open door for air. Spa and pool was better than expected. Location was great for the fortress. Breakfast was good. "

"Hotel needs some pizazz. Getting old and tired. Same decor for many years now. Poor outdoor lighting and on-site parking almost impossible . Staff very friendly and kitchen staff especially so. Highlights are breakfast is bountiful. Ventilation is open swim area should be approved and someone needs to monitor pool seating to stop guests from leaving towels but never lay or sit not allowing other guests to secure seating "

"The location is amazing, by the Kuressaare castle. The rooms are on the 2nd floor of a beautiful old building. The first floor is a restaurant with a beautiful terrace overlooking the castle and great food. "

"The hotel is in a beautiful location, on its own island between the town centre and the castle. It is an old and very characterful building, beautifully maintained. Service is excellent and the breakfasts are fantastic. The only negative thing to note is that mosquitoes are a serious problem in the summer. Spa, koridoride ja pesuruumide plaatimistööde kvaliteet on täielik null. Samas jälle sisekujundus on väga ilus ja hubane. "Edellisten arvioiden ja hotellin nimen (spa) mukaan kuvittelimme hotellissa olevan uima-altaan. Ei ollut! Huoneessa oli lyhyt hotelli-info, jossa kerrottiin kylpylämahdolliduudesta viereisessä hotellissa. Kysyttyämme siitä, kuulimme kylpylän olevan remontissa. Viileän ja osittain sateisen sään vuoksi se oli pettymys."
