Together with your extended family you can make yourself comfortable here, chat on the sofa in the evening with a crackling fireplace or conjure up dishes together in the open kitchen. If you want to relax your muscles after your activities, there is a sauna as well as a jacuzzi on the terrace. Enjoy the bath and the view of the mountains from the whirlpool.

The area around the cabin is an Eldorado for outdoor enthusiasts all year round with great hiking opportunities to Skeiskvanndalsvatnet and Børdalsfjellet. You can try your luck at fishing in the mountain lakes, and the Hardangerfjord is just a short drive away. Visit the beautiful waterfall Steinsdalsfossen, Norheimsund with its beautiful sandy beach, the center for local history and Fyksesund on the Hardangerfjord. Day trips along the fjord on national tourist routes in beautiful western Norway are recommended. Also plan day trips to Ulvik, the summer ski center Jondal, Baroni Rosendal 1665 and last but not least the city of Bergen with the aquarium, the river and the famous pier.

In winter there are a number of downhill slopes at the Alpine Center and groomed cross-country ski trails in large parts of Kvamskogen.
