Amazingly friendly and helpful staff. The bathrooms are recently updated, but the rooms are a bit dated. Bed was comfortable and clean. I would definitely book again. The location is gorgeous and was perfect for me.

After a long motorbike trip we could not have been in a better place. Pool, jacuzzi and sauna and an amazing dinner with the best service. The meat, beef, top top. Highly recommended.

The hotel was clean and comfortable with great service. The rooms are a bit small for 4 people but the kids said the sofa bed was comfortable. The food was great for breakfast and dinner but the options did not change the nights we visited. It is within a hour of a lot of local attractions and found out that the Olympic torch was lit at that location twice. The pool and hotel grounds are great for kids. They have sports and a play ground that includes a zip line. They also have electric car connections for a reasonable rate if you need them. Overall a very nice hotel.

Old hotel with pool and jacuzzi
The hotel is close to the main road and has a good location. Very pleasant paintings are hung in the corridors and rooms. There is a nice pool with a water temperature of about 30 degrees and a warm jacuzzi. The restaurant is well laid out and offers delicious food. The only remark I could point out is that the hotel is old. It is already worn and smells old.

Gledet oss til et opphold på Morgedal Hotell. Hørt mye bra om dere. Svært få gjester, på en mandag ( kun 4 til middag). Vi får rom i 4 etg,på baksiden av bygget ,med «utsikt» rett inn i trær og null utsikt! Rent, absolutt, men standarden var en skuffelse! Kraner som var vanskelige å skru opp og igjen, en tom såpedispenser, lekkasje fra badekar, glatt vått gulv uten badematte….. Vi inntok bassenget; boblebad i ustand, dame dusjen med 4 tomme såpedispensere, en STOR hårdott oppå avløpet og en badstue med lunken temperatur! En skuffende opplevelse ! Men roses den som roses kan; restauranten hadde velsmakende og NYDELIG mat og meget proff servitør! Han løftet opp besøket fra - til +. Vi sjekket ut, spurte om alle rommene var av like dårlig standard ?, fikk beskjed om at 1ste og 2 etg var nyoppusset og mange ledige rom med utsikt! Hvorfor da gi førstegangs besøkende et så dårlig inntrykk? Riktignok fikk vi noe avslag på et par vinglass, men dette kan dere ikke være bekjent av! Leit for oss, værre for Morgedal Hotell! OK hotell til denne prisen
Hotell med mye historie og ok beliggenhet nær E134. Hyggelig betjening og bra system for innsjekking og utsjekking. Noe overrasket over mangel på vanlige lysbrytere på selve rommet, og puten til seng var ikke spesielt bra. Madrassen var også hard, men det gikk fint. Det manglet også egen søppelbøtte til selve oppholdsrommet, noe man sjelden opplever på hotell i Norge. Vi måtte be om tannpasta i resepsjonen og måtte betale 55 kr for verdens minste tannkremtube, dette reagerte vi på. De kunne priset dette til 20 kr og hotellet ville fortsatt gått kraftig i pluss på salget. Noe svak rengjøring på badet, vil absolutt anbefale innkjøp av "magisk svamp" som helt sikkert fjerner merkene vi så på veggflisene.

Personell Mat og fellesareal var veldig bra.Rommet var gammelt og slitt. Badekar-ingen dusj. Ingen hårføner el propp i servant. Få kontakter, de satt på vegg under bord og v radiator. Ikke lett å finne. Sortering av søppel var lett tilgjengelig på korridor. Hyggelig spisesal med hvite duker

Bel hôtel old school et rénové avec bon goût. Emplacement en pleine nature très agréable. Petit déjeuner correct sans plus même s’il y a du choix. Belle piscine, sauna top, dommage que le jacuzzi soit en panne. Expérience satisfaisante :-))
