The name of the house should be the program of your vacation with us because 'Slappe-AV' is translated into German nothing but relax '; to relax'.
It is a modern, newly built by the owner himself House (built 2008-2010) located near the inland lake and the ski center Vråvatn Vrådal Panorama.
There is a living / dining room with two exits to the large terrace where you can enjoy the tranquility and the unique landscape. Alternatively, you can make it cozy, reading, watching TV or just relax after the sauna in peace also in the living room in front of the fireplace.
Due to its classification with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms, the house is also ideal for two families.
Baby bed, high chair and stair gate is available.

In summer you can in the nearby lakes Vråvatn (a quiet cove with a sandy beach just 300 meters from the house) or Nisser (about 5 km from the house there is a sandy beach with a kiosk, playground and climbing tower) swim, canoe drive, or in the beautiful natural surroundings near hiking on the many marked trails, biking or Nordic walking.
The house is only about 5 km from a 9-hole golf course and about 2 km from the family-friendly Vrådal Panorama Ski Centre. There is a private screened children's area right next to the chairlift. The ski area offers both beginner slopes as well as advanced users. In addition, a ski school, as well as cross-country skiing through the forest and the mountains. Up on the top of the ski center there is a 4km long circuit and a trail for Hægefjell - a nice day trip! Information about the route network and an overview map are available at the ski center.
With enough snow you can find an introduction to cross-country trails about 50m from the house.
Nisser and Vråvatn have a rich fish stock
There are in the lakes among others trout, whitefish (whitefish), char and perch. It trout have been caught with more than 8 000 g weight, but most are between 150 and 600g. Through large-scale liming the nutrient content of the water has been significantly improved in recent years. The trout have a nice red meat and taste delicious. The big fish often come in mid-September high out of the deep waters to the prepare spawn.
The best fishing season is in June and August. In mid-summer, the water is often too hot, so the fish stay in deeper water.
Vrådal Fiskelag owns the waters and sells fishing cards for most of the Vråvatn, the upper part of Nisser and part of the mountain lakes.
A day ticket costs 25 NOK (€ 3 Stand 05/14), the week card 50 NOK and the season ticket 160 NOK. Children under 16 have to pay any fee. The fishing cards at the tourist information, shops and some accommodation facilities to buy in Vrådal.
Near the Vrådal Panorama you will find a fish pond with fish exposed. This pond is not included in the fishing map. The fishing card for this pond costs 30 NOK.
You can book near a variety of activities throughout. These include moose safari, beaver safari, bikes, pony rides, climbing to the highest climbing tower in northern Europe, etc., etc.
It is also possible for us to you in due season (end of September / October / November) to organize a moose hunting. Please inquire.
