Amazing place to stay! Perfect location, great ammunitions, many places of interest, public transportation, great restaurants and brands for shopping are located around. As a bonus, it's a chance to stay in the historical old building. I would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.

If the location is of importance, then this is the property for you. Located close to the Globus Mall and a Metro Station there are so many attractions nearby. The Friendship of Nations Arch is a short walk away. There is just so much to see and do in this location. Unfortunately the apartment is quite poorly equipped with many items either missing or not working. The kitchen is very basic - no dinner plates (only bowls), no containers to warm food in the microwave, no dishwashing liquid (provided after asking for some), sink wouldn’t hold water to wash up, no towel to dry dishes. The bed mattress is quite uncomfortable and has no support. The two individual lounge chairs are wobbly and uncomfortable as is the low table between the chairs. There was a picture that had come off the wall above the bed and not re-hung (just left in lounge) The biggest negative for us was that there were nightly street karaoke performances almost immediately below the bedroom window. The amplified music was very disturbing and as the bedroom window didn’t seal correctly the sound leaked freely into the apartment. Khreschatyk St below is treated as a racetrack with extreme car and motorbike noise late into the night further disturbing sleep. On a positive side the management staff were friendly and tried to be helpful though there were clearly language issues as we don’t speak Ukrainian. We had great hope for our booking at this property but in its current condition we could not recommend it.

Great value.
I was aware that reception is in a separate location so this was no problem. The apartment they accompanied me to was in a stellar location with many bars and restaurants. I had a top floor accommodation with great air conditioning, and right outside was a laundry area. Room was very clean and modern. I enjoyed the privacy of having an apartment rather than waking past a receptionist every time I came back. Staff were very helpful - I locked myself out of my room after midnight and they promptly came to let me back in. They offer very cheap airport service which was less than half of what I paid a local taxi, so I recommend this. If I return to Kiev, I will be using them again.

The hotel is so central - loved the area, everything was in great proximity. It is one of the most beautiful building in Kiev and i would stay there again for sure next time i visit. The only complain i have is the status of the mattress.

UNSAFE!! stay with drunk homeless at doorstep
The property is a rental office that owns apartments around Kiev, and you are eventually booking an apartment in a random residential building. I stayed at Sofiivska St. 2, and in order to enter the building each evening, I had to get through a group of drunk homeless people sitting at the building entrance door and asking for money/cigarettes/whatnot. One of the evenings I had to argue with a super aggressive drunk guy who grabbed the entrance door while I was going out of the building and almost attacked me when I told him he can't enter. But the definite HIGHLIGHT of my stay was coming to the apartment around 1am on another night, and finding a drunk passed out person blocking my apartment door on the 5th floor. I actually had to wake him up and move him in order to be able to enter the apartment! Luckily he didn't get violent and I quickly managed to sneak into the apartment and lock the door. I am a big guy who rarely feels unsafe anywhere and still the whole stay was super unpleasant. But I can't imagine how it would have felt for woman staying alone in such place. The response from the property was priceless: "We offer apartment for rent and, unfortunately, we are not responsible for the building where the apartment is, and we are not also responsible for people who enter in this building If it were something wrong with our apartment, for example: door didn't lock, absent of water or smth else, we will be responsible" So decide to stay at your own discretion.

First of all, this is NOT a Guesthouse/B&B/Hotel this is a room in an apartment. Secondly, reception is 1.2 kms away! They say they have a person for "walking" with you, so imagine you are coming from a flight and you find you have to walk 1.2 kms... Thirdly, receptionist is very rude. Fourth, housekeepers open the door while DO NOT DISTURB IS on the door handle! fifth point, non smoking while there is no smoke alarm in the room. six, the location above Zara is well known for thieves, prostitutes...etc not good.
