"Goodness us…. PLEASE treat yourself and stay at least one night in this beautiful traditional hotel with its own onsen! We had a superbly decorated very very very large traditional room (tatamis), a view of the little port and the sea of Japan with sunset…. And we discovered once there that one could book their private onsen! Oh and yes, it’s ‘only’ a 100 years old family hotel…. "We were lucky enough to book two nights at this Sora to Umi. The location is stunning - on a clifftop overlooking the sea of Japan. When the sun is shining the colour of the sea is simply amazing. "The owner had forgotten our booking!! He called a neighbourg with poor facilities to welcome me and my family and we accepted because no choice. I saw also in the hall that prices in Japanese for Japanese customers wre nearly half of waht I paid with expedia and included dinner. I do not recommend anyone to stay there."
