"There was a bunk bed (tatami style) and a wonderful experience. There was also a train and bus station near by, a 3 min walk away from the hotel. There was a traditional shop selling fried potato and chicken just around the corner, an easy stop for a quick breakfast. Just at the junction, there was also a western food shop and fruit stall. I highly recommend this place to stay if you prefer a quieter environment. Our room is very clean but our room was required to share toilets. However, we were...

"This ryokan was beautiful and very clean, and the staff were always friendly and accommodating. You can also reserve the private onsen for about 1000 yen for an hour. The bus stop was a short walk away so it wasn't too bad travelling to different parts of the city. Loved this place! "

"We really enjoyed our 2 night stay here. I loved how the room included a washer for our dirty clothes. It was really convenient since our total trip to Japan was 15 days. The location of this hotel was also located near this really cute shopping street with a bunch of food places. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Perfect for short term stay in Kyoto. Accessible to Gojo and Kyoto station, good food in the immediate area (check out Ishisei!) and the check in/out process is super easy. Room was clean and had a deep bathtub. Futon was a little thin but that appears to be the norm in most inexpensive hotels. Staff was super friendly and the amenities are great, plus they offer a lot of extra options if you're interested."

"When arrived around 3pm local time, I was greeted by a staff member who actually spoke a pretty good English. She assisted me with various needs so I felt easy and home already. The room was nicely equipped just like what it stated and all worked flawlessly. Nice to have Family mart store located on the first floor of the same building. Definitely & highly recommend Minn Hotel chains when traveling to Japan. Couldn’t be happier."
