I had been to kyoto many times but this is the first time to stay in this hotel. The location is excellent, right across from the Kyoto train/bus stations. There is an underground entrance to dining, shopping and train station. However, the hotel rooms are a kind of small and old, no USB outlets. Our room was facing east and the morning sun made the room extremely hot and stuffy. The air conditioner didn’t seem to work. I was told by the front desk that the heater had been turned on in November. The window was locked and unable to open. It was uncomfortable to sleep in the heat. We asked for a fan. The staff were helpful and courteous.

I had been to Kyoto many times but this was the first time staying in this hotel. The location is excellent, which is right across from the train and bus stations.
