We had an amazing stay at this hotel!!! The hotel is beautiful right from the start, as soon as you walk in! It’s in the most PERFECT location ever, walkable distance to train stations, several restaurants, shopping centers, convenient stores, everything!! You will not regret staying here, trust me. Great hotel right in the heart of the city. Super convenient to be able to walk to Nishiki market and the surrounding areas with ease each day. The staff was super friendly and the amenities were great. Even had an onsen in the basement to wind down after a busy day. Would certainly recommend!

My partner and I loved staying here. The staff are wonderful and accommodating. The breakfasts were lovely and it was incredibly convenient for us to get around. Very clean and comfortable room. Helpful staff. Nice and quiet area and hotel. Easy for getting out to other areas of the city. The sento was wonderful. We did not use the bar or restaurant. We expected the Gion area to be livlier than it was, but Pontocho is just a short walk.

Really nice hotel in Gion with tons of action, shopping, restaurants, temples, and tourists attractions nearby. Excellent service, tasty Japanese/ Japanised Western buffet breakfast, and even a onsen-style public bath (separate for men and women). Easy to get to with train and subway.
